There were also some very little things, but they didn't change our overall experience. I leave them here as feedback to be corrected if possible. We would have loved a higher temperature of the water for showering, as well it took a bit until the room got the right temperature.

The place is simply amazing. We are one week after the 2 days spent there and still talking about. I loved the nature, the overall concept and atmosphere, the room, the spa, the food and the staff. The cats, the dog, the ducks on the frozen lake and the full moon made our staying there memorable. We managed to disconnect from our daily routine, and credits go to the owner and staff. Thank you. Can't wait to get back.

The food was rather expensive. Fine dining with small portions and mountain cabins don’t go hand in hand in my opinion, but taste wise it was good.

This place is just fantastic! It is a great option if you want to relax in silence, eat good and enjoy nature. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast with local and traditional food is amazing. It is also a good place if you like to go hiking. The houses have AC and are very clean. Also the position of the houses offer you enough privacy. A very big applause for the owner’s and the staff from Portal Village. We will for sure come again!

We had an amazing stay at this resort. They know how to make people feel relaxed by offering different services like massages and forest hiking. Also, the bungalows are well equipped, and with everything you might want. The restaurant offers amazing and delicious food, and combined with the environment you’re staying, it melts perfectly to give you the best experience.

The indescribable atmosphere of solitude with nature helps to enjoy your stay in such a picturesque place as this hotel. I recommend this place for a romantic weekend. Authentic design, polite staff gives a special sophistication to this place. I especially want to note the uniqueness of the concept of houses, including panoramic windows overlooking the mountains and the night starry sky is unforgettably beautiful.

We ordered the lava cake for desert. It was delicious but slightly overdone, so it was not flowing.

The rooms are incredible. We had a great time. The spa was very nice. The staff was extremely nice and willing to help. The food was very delicious.

After all the great food choices I was a bit surprised to find Costa coffee and Yogi tea as morning pick me ups. Both are decent and acceptable choices, just surprising after all the attention to detail.

I really liked the attention to detail, everything that surrounds you is carefully curated visually. There are artistic textile or natural compositions everywhere. Fresh flower on the tables, linen placemats, and other details that reflect the place. The food has two specifics: one local and traditional for breakfast and lunch and fine dining for dinner. Both are made from local ingredients with a no food waste philosophy, which I greatly appreciate. I also enjoyed the private experience for the spa- sauna and jacuzzi style bath- and the massage, both very well though out.

dinner without a paper menu without being able to consult the ingredients and prices offered. The gourmet style of the dishes on offer is fine, but you can't ask 90lei for a vegetarian dish with a few tops of broccoli and a quarter of sauteed cabbage in the center, it may be fine for a meat or fish dish perhaps, though still it would remain a very high price by Romanian standards. The presentation of gourmet dishes is appreciated, however, to charge so much per dish, it would then be necessary to offer a gourmet service and a series of other details that were missing in a very friendly environment both in the service and in the environment. Furthermore, we must bear in mind that those who do not eat meat also want to satiate themselves with larger portions and not having to be forced to order yet other dishes, spending more than meat eaters in the end. It is a health place so that should be taken into consideration. our final expenditure for two was 370 lei (about €75), for two vegetarian appetizers, two vegetable dishes and two salads, some potatoes and a tiny dessert. Finally, if we had to choose to stay several days, we would thus spend almost as much for each dinner as the accommodation, which again by Romanian standards is not balanced in my opinion.

Perfect environment to relax and disconnect. The staff was very friendly and helpful, even the owner who very kindly advised us which route to take for our walk. Being able to use the spa alone by reserving it is an excellent idea. Our bungalow (Luna) was very well cared for in every detail and nothing was missing for the necessary comfort. Surely having only spent two nights was a short time. We would love to return

We were happy with the room price and the SPA (which is extra). However, the food was HEAVILY OVERPRICED for the quality, taste and service. We got a toast with butter and a main dish each, for dinner ( over 50€ ). I don’t think the money was the problem. It’s just a huge discrepancy between the beauty of the place and the quality of the food.

Everything was amazing: location, architecture, interior design, room view, comfy bed, restaurant table setting and especially the SPA. Extremely clean room and great attention to details. Claudiu was a great guest.

Everything was perfect.😊 The location, the staff, the restaurant and food served. The bungalow was very clean and spacious. Waking up with the sunrise and falling a sleep watching the stars made our stay even more beautiful. The location, surroundings and quietness helped relax and disconnect. This is the place you visit once and know you’ll come back with pleasure.
