The entrance to the accommodation could look a bit shady/dodgy especially if its dark. However, once you enter the room you can forget about it. The room is an extension in some form of a building where other people (mostly locals) are living too. But we didn't have a problem with it anyway.

The stay was superb. Really exceeded our expectations when you enter the room. Super clean and equipped with all the necessary facilities. The accommodation is right at the center, so most tourist attractions are within walking distance. The room also had functional air conditioning (must during the summer season!) and a Smart TV. We never met the owner but we got clear instructions for checkin/checkout through a text message which was super helpful. We didn't try the breakfast option but even that is near to the accommodation and have heard good reviews about it.

If you plan to visit Sibiu, I highly recommend you to choose Rabbit Hole Superior Extension as your first option. If you go for this option during your visit, you will have access to a studio in the center of Sibiu, at 2 min walking distance from Piața Mare (The Large Square). This means that you have a very short walking distance between the place where you stay and all the important touristic attractions of the city. The studio has its own kitchen, a spacious bathroom and also a room with a big an comfortable bed. Clean dishes, clean bathroom, clean towels, clean sheets, just as anybody would like to have during their holidays. You also have WI-FI access, air conditioning & TV. In case you have an included breakfast, they serve it in Piața Mare at The Rabbit Hole Restaurant. I had an included breakfast during my stay and the food was great. Their restaurant is a good option for any other meal you want to serve during the day. In the morning of the day when you’ll check-in, the staff will contact you by Whats App, providing all the details you need to know during your stay. I will surely come back to this place, because they provide excellent conditions and the staff is super professional!

The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed. The location was good being close to the main square but looking onto a quiet courtyard. There was also a good choice of breakfast items included at the restaurant on the square.

There was a lot of steps to go through, as there are no staff at the location. I just got a whatsapp message, in Romanian only, about how to get the keys etc. This was overly complicated. I also missed that this is not the same location as "Rabbit hole", as this "hotel" is not marked on Google Maps. They claimed the room was 2 minutes from the breakfast restaurant, but it takes 2 minutes just to get down to the street from the room, and then it's a 4 minute walk from there. Since the breakfast is at a restaurant, you have to wait for servers, which made it over 20 minutes from I left the room to I had the breakfast. So you might have to account for an hour from you leave the room to you are back. The room is in the middle of a normal, quite shabby and dirty, apartment building, so I assume a lot of people will not feel safe going from the street to the room. The wifi was very unstable and slow, practically unusable.

The room itself is absolutely fantastic. The AC was quiet, and I had my best nights of sleep during my vacation here. The breakfast, which was served at a restaurant, was also fantastic, and they had many options.

We booked this room because it advertised parking. This is NOT the case, there is just parking on the streets around which is very hard to find free spaces in. We ended up finding a carpark about a 15min walk away and had to pay. It is also not that easy to find, but in a good location close to the main square. Very Very firm uncomfortable mattress
