How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The night we arrived we found a big cockroach in the bathroom and had a fierce battle with it. After that, found some hairs in several places of the room.
It was very comfy and pretty modern, staff was nice, chill atmosphere, yummy food, good location. The room was reaaaaally lovely; loved the bed (comfiest thing ever), huge windows and fancy lights. Best and comfiest vacation in a really long time. Much better than I expected/saw in the pictures when booking.

Dirty windows at the room, and noise from other guests late at night on the hallway (although this is not a defect of the hotel).

Not many options for breakfast and it was quite cold at the restaurant.
Very comfortable and spacious room, clean and big bathroom. Walking distance to the city centre and friendly receptionist who helped us with the parking place.

the breakfast isn’t that great and should add curtain on the shower/bathtub since it all gets soaked every time you shower.

We had a big room for one week. However, altough it had a glass wall, there was no window to open for fresh air. So the room was ventilated by opening the entrance door. Also the communication regarding the rules of the hotel (what is included in the price and what not) could be better.
The rooms are nice and clean and the staff willing to help. Good value for money. The breakfast was better than in summer when I previously stayed in the same hotel. Despite little inconveniences, I would choose to stay here again.

On the booking page it was mentioned that a minibar is included but you actually have to pay for the drinks that you take. Good to know: coffee and tea is only free of charge in the morning when you have the breakfast.
The rooms are quite spacious and cozy, cleaning and room service is good. As for the breakfast, it was decent for the price, a wide variety of food and drinks are available. Overall, it was a nice experience and we'll consider coming back here.

The amenities inside the room were looking a little wear, the furniture a little old (second hand?) and the level of comfort of the mattress was subpar. The cleanliness of the room could do with a little bit of improvement (a better vacuuming between guests).
The hotel is acceptable for a 3 star rating, with a big bathroom and clean facilities. The personal was very attentive, discreet and acted in professional manner. The lighting and general amenities were well kept.

I had to pay for parking during the hole holiday. They only have 5-6 parking slots. Some of the blankets from the wardrobe were speckled.
The rooms are large and beautiful. The staff is friendly.

Very clean and spacious room. The room was continuously heated so it was a nice temperature all day and all night long. Good breakfast!
