The only issue I would like to mention are the quite steep stairs (more a problem when going down than up). They were not an issue for us but it depends on your mobility. A ground floor bigger apartment is however available if you need it

Everything was great. The location is right in the center of the old city, a few minutes walk from Gradina Publica and from Piata Traian, on a very quiet street. The old house has been nicely restored, rooms are big with high ceilings, every room seems to be a little different with nice touches. Our room was overlooking a small garden with beautiful roses where in warmer days you can have breakfast or just sit and relax. Bedsheets are crisp and bathrobes and sleepers are available in the rooms. A small fridge is also available. Beds are comfortable but on the firm side. Breakfast is good and plenty (not buffet style as the location is too small for this), eggs are made to order. Mrs. Ionica who takes care of the place is extremely nice and she made us feel really welcomed. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for 2 nights and the room wasn't cleaned in this time. There was a sewerage smell in the bathroom. Very poor lighting in the room, not ideal for reading in the evening in the bed. Also, not much of a breakfast.

Limited space if travelling with young babies, difficult pram / up the stairs acces, no baby chair in the dinig area.

Very large comfortable bed, very clean sheets which I did appreciate as I was sleeping with a baby. Owner was really helpful and kind! Good breakfast too.

The residence was very clean. It has a personal touch where you can feel like at home. The garden is great. We enjoyed Breakfast in the garden. Breakfast consisted in eggs(eye/scrambled) salami cheese tomatoes cucumbers, tea, coffee and a beautiful cat :)

The propery is very nice, I love the interior design and furniture. Tables and chairs are beautiful also. The reception/treatment was very friendly, I appreciate. It was a very pleasant stay. You can visit the city center because it is around you basicaly.

Felt like home in a city that probably we overlooked so far. But no more! We loved Braila and we loved our stay at Residenza Dutu. It is super cosy, elegant, a great mixture of modern taste with local historical details. We would most definitely come back! And we loved the people, full of positive energy and very opened.
