Everything was great! The host was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was very good as well. There are plenty of things to do in Saschiz (visit the church, go on a hike, go to different hotspots etc) and around Saschiz, making this accommodation a very good location for visiting the fortified churches around (Viscri is a must), for visiting Sighisoara as well, and for hiking, biking, food tasting.

Fantastic location in an old farmhouse. Perfectly and of high comfort renovated rooms. Tasteful old furniture giving an authentic touch to the rooms; nothing is fake. Very clean rooms, breakfast kitchen, bathrooms. Very kind and heartfelt hosts.

Hidden gem  to get away from the city. Great location for trekking, bicycle rides, motorcycle rides and sightseeing. This is one of the villages along the path of via Transilvanica. We can't wait to return. The house exceeded our expectations in every way. Extremely Clean! Excellent Breakfast!

I recently had the privilege of staying at the traditional Saxon house in Saschiz, Romania, and I cannot stop raving about my incredible experience! From the moment I arrived, I was transported back in time to a world of history, culture, and warm hospitality. The first thing that struck me was the sheer beauty of the Saxon house itself. Nestled in the heart of the picturesque village of Saschiz, this centuries-old gem exudes character and charm. Its well-preserved architecture and rustic ambiance instantly make you feel like you're part of a bygone era. Upon entering, I was greeted by the friendly and welcoming hosts, who made me feel like family from the very beginning. Their passion for preserving the Saxon heritage and sharing it with visitors was evident in every detail of the house. The room I stayed in was a true testament to Saxon craftsmanship, with its wooden beams, hand-carved furniture, and traditional textiles. It was cozy and comfortable, offering a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring the surrounding countryside. Speaking of which, Saschiz and its surroundings are nothing short of enchanting. From the rolling hills and lush meadows to the fairytale-like fortified church that Saschiz is famous for, every corner of this region is a feast for the eyes. The hosts were more than happy to provide recommendations for hikes, bike rides, and cultural excursions that allowed me to immerse myself in the local way of life. And let's not forget the food! The traditional Saxon cuisine served at the house was a highlight of my stay. Each meal was a delightful journey through the flavors of the region, with dishes that showcased the freshest local ingredients. The hosts even taught me a few cooking secrets, making the experience even more special. But what truly sets this Saxon house apart is the warmth and hospitality of its hosts. They went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was not just comfortable but also culturally enriching.

There are still little improvements to do, but overall it was a nice experience in nature, at a fair price, without major issues.

The host was very friendly and attentive. The bathroom and tent were also very clean. The bed is confortable, providing good sleep. Delicious breakfast, with local products. We had a little dog which received good attention too.

Such a beautiful place to enjoy some peace and quiet. Diane is a very friendly host. Breakfast was wonderful. Tent was comfortable and the view from the hill is amazing. The pool is a great place to relax on a hot summer day. Many friendly cats on the premises. Would definitely recommend!

Transylvanian country house renovated with the best of taste and attention to details. The whole location is quiet, pleasant and the best place to relax and disconnect from the city. The hosts are welcoming and very kind and attentive to any needs of the guests. It was a pleasure to spend a weekend there, we will definitely return. 😃

I stayed for one night in a tent. The tent is big enough and nicely decorated. The matress is also good. There is a heating device inside the tent in case it gets too cold over the night. There is a kitchen available in the house which is well-equipped. There are also several shady places in the courtyard where to stay during the day to chat over a coffee. The shower outside is a pleasant experience. The view when the night falls is awesome. The owner is very friendly and willing to make the stay as good as possible. I will definitely come back.

we couldn't order the breakfast or another meal, but you have the possibility to cook. in the first night was cold, even if we had a heater, it depends on the period you want to stay.

The property is very nice, clean and the shower experience outside, in the garden, was great.

We liked the energy of the place and the chillness that it brought. A breath of fresh air in the true definition! The couple that have the place are a joy to spend time with, and the people from the village are in general welcoming and helpful. Adored that they have cats and are pet friendly. Cannot wait to go again! If you are looking for a chill place and truly want to enjoy nature, it is the place to go. The room was cosy and traditionally decorated. For us, it was perfectly sized!

Excellent stay - the room was big, very nicely decorated, and you could see that somebody paid attention to the details. Diana was a great host - she even arranged a home-cooked meal for us with one lady from the village. Will definitely come back!

Oh my God, such a Discovery this place was! I loved everything about this place: the bed, the furniture, the finishing, the paintings. The bathroom even has a bathtub! And the best thing is the fireplace! The yard the kitchen and the barn are other amazing places where you can spend your time here. The house is like an historical place and has been renovated by the buyers. The Hosts are so nice and helpful - Diana is such an angelic soul. Your house might even have a veranda where you can spend time reading or writing or just enjoying the sights. Also, there is a wine box in the room such an amazing treat! And a really great wine I discovered there - I tried the rosé. So greatful for everything I received! I will definitely come back for a glamping experience.

Super cozy, the room was wonderful and the porch stole my heart. The host is an absolute sweetheart with great attention to details, very welcoming and helpful. The property has everything you need from access to kitchen and the option to have delicious, traditional food cooked by a local lady, to a beautiful garden with a view over the church. The village is quiet and charming.

Nothing can compare to the experience I had at this property. The room, the barn, the kitchen, terrace… tranquility and cats. It felt like time stood still. I will choose it again :)

The only thing I didn't like was that sometimes the big dog, Muna, would be tied up on a chain and she would bark and cry for freedom. I'm sure that the owner had her reasons to tie her up, but she's an amazing dog and I felt sorry for her.

Everything was above expectations. Very clean room, great facilities, tasteful interior design, beautiful garden to spend time in, basically they thought of everything. It's a place where you want to go and never leave for sightseeing or anything else. You just want to spend time there and enjoy the scenery.
