When I ordered rib eye steak I felt I was slightly misled by the waiter about what the cost was. Having ordered medium steak it also had to be sent back because some of the meat was clearly raw. But I had other far better experiences at the hotel restaurant. The menu is varied and extensive and the dishes which I had were excellent. the ambience is relaxing and it clearly attracts locals (including family groups) to dine. So my original experience was probably an unlucky one.

The location is slightly beyond the main centre. It's a quiet location bordering a small park which is on the way to the railway station. There are quiet nearby residential streets which i enjoyed exploring during my second day in Oradea. I found the staff at reception to be attentive and helpful. When i encountered an unexpected bureaucratic hurdle due to work i had done in Hungary, they didn't hesitate to print out 13 pages of documents and then scanned 3 of them. I was embarrassed to ask and I had to put up a struggle in order for two of them to accept a tip from me - a classy attitude. Oradea is a friendly, sedate and safe city, a rather early-to-bed- place unlike frenetic Cluj a couple of hours further into Romania. The hotel reflected the atmosphere of the city in general.

The breakfast can be improved both in terms of diversity and available hours (7 to 9 is a little tight).

For breakfast you need to supply faster the dishes which are finished by the guests Please, please make us all a favour and replace the coffee machine....each day starts with a good coffee, you know the saying and we all want a good day.

Great place to stay, owned and managed by Mr. Stokker himself to a high standard. Excellent value for money , highly recommended. We'll be back for a longer visit to this very pleasant city and will definitely stay at this hotel again.

The room, even it was clean enough, had pretty old furniture. The bathroom, clean, but very small, and it was a mix between old and new. The TV was bigger than usual in a hotel room, but the cable sigal was poor. The breakfast could have been more diversified.

The Hotel is situated in a pretty good place, quiet zone, pretty close to the city center. I liked the fact that they had a restaurant with the terrace and i did not have to go to other places to eat. Liked the fact that i had a balcony so i can smoke. Also, there was a minibar. Another good thing was the parking places. The wifi signal was great in my room (1st floor). The staff was really great, very friendly, all of them.

A nice hotel in a good location (walking distance to the center). It was quiet, as we got a room facing the inner courtyard. The room had a terasse with a nice view to the houses and the trees and courtyards in the neighbourhood. There is a good restaurant on the premises. . We eat there all meals. We would definitely stay again when visiting Oradea.
