I loved absolutely everything, but there was one thing that was weird - staff in the lobby lounge were smoking electronic cigarettes and it looked very inappropriate to be honest. In Japan 🇯🇵 we are very strict about smoking in public, specially inside the hotels. But maybe in Romania that is a normal thing, no idea.

The design of this particular building is absolutely breathtaking! The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, the spa and sauna felt great after a long flight from Tokyo. Also I loved the service of Alexandru ( Alex) at the reception . He was extremely helpful, king and welcoming. This kind of people must be promoted, because days Alex wasn’t there, it felt different, sad and not welcoming atmosphere, you had to go at the reception to ask for help with your suitcases .

The hotel is fabulous. The spa & the vault bar are so nice but what makes this hotel is the staff. The reception staff, management, cleaner’s and door staff were all so lovely. The rooms are really modern and the toiletries are the white company. The pool & spa area is outstanding. The location is perfect. I would not stay anywhere else if I visited Bucharest again. Couple of tips when visiting Bucharest. 1) Use Uber it is really reasonable. You can order a Uber from the airport & just cross the road into the carpark you will pay £15 compared to the £50 for a cab from the rank. 2) The traffic is bad so allow extra time for all journeys. 3) A visit to Therme is a must.

An amazing hotel,in a impressive building (was a bank 100 years ago). There’s a bar in a vault that is worth a try. Friendly staff and very comfortable beds.

Unfortunately the spa area at the pool does not include rules which should prevent customers taking loud video calls, intruding the privacy of basically everyone in the area. The price per night is quite steep for Bucharest and more along the price ranges in richer parts of Europe.

It really is a memorable experience to stay in such a beautiful building which carries a lot of history. The staff at the reception is amazing as they have been super nice and helpful. The breakfast is absolutely delicious. The room had a wonderful design, included all necessary facilities and the bed was super comfortable.
