Excellent location, just steps away from main Council Square that’s loaded with period Saxon buildings, ambiance outdoor dining options and shops. (Free waking your daily @ 10:30am by fountain) Amazing historical relevance to Katharine, who was Vlad the Impaler’s mistress and had 5 children with him. Their detailed love story is recounted in room brochure. Quaintly served breakfast with many options including Katarina breakfast served with duck, glazed onions and Prosecco! Anna, our host, was most willing to assist where ever possible. Highly recommend!

The Wi-Fi signal could've been a bit more stable and faster , but other than that everything was perfect.

The staff was extremely friendly and the room was extremely clean, comfortable and gorgeously decorated. The breakfast blew us away and we definitely recommend it to anyone visiting. The location of the hotel is extremely close to most major tourist attractions and it's very quiet in the rooms.

The water pressure in the shower was low. Also, there was an unpleasant odor near the toilet/bidet area.

The hotel is a renovated 200+ year old building with a lot of characters, located in the Old Town. The staff was so nice & friendly. Breakfast was made to order - the choices were excellent & they were all delicious. The bed was very comfortable.

This hotel is in a good location on the border of the old town in a courtyard. So it is very quiet and close to various sights. The bedroom and bathroom are very spacious, clean and tastefully furnished. The bed is very comfortable. There is also comfortable seating. The breakfast is delicious and varied. What makes the hotel stand out is the hospitality and accommodating nature of the hostess. She helped us plan our excursions as well as organising a shuttle to the airport.

The hotel is a very pretty, old fashioned style hotel although it has been thoroughly modernised. Its a gem of a hotel with a traditional old fashioned feel. The staff were excellent, so warm and welcoming. They even blocked off an area in front of the hotel to park my car. Simply outstanding all round. Breakfast in the morning was delicious.

it is an old property, therefore it does not have a lift for luggage, so pack light ;)

Due to the proximity to the city center, you could hear a little bit of noise outside and the traffic, but nothing you couldn't sleep through.

The staff was lovely and allowed us to check in a bit early. Breakfast was served in our room promptly at the agreed hour and it was delicious. The room was as pictured - big, clean and decorated beautifully. The bathroom was stunning and equipped with all the necessities. The location was very central. Just a two-minute walk from the main attractions and easy to get around!
