The only minor critique I have, is that I requested extra tp from the receptionist, however he forgot to bring it to room. I tried calling the reception various times to remind the receptionist that I need tp, but no one answered.

Everything!! We'll done to the hotel team for great decor in the rooms. Also, the room was absolutely spotless and clean. The bathroom smelt like bleach which shows that it was scrubbed clean :)

1.No mesh at doors or windows- you have to keep the windows closed at all time to avoid having bugs and mosquitoes coming in; a proper mesh will allow guests to keep the windows open allowing the fresh air coming in and mean time saving energy from not having the AC Unit on 2. No possibility to pay by credit card- a big minus for this ( the receptionist got really frustrated when I told him i have no cash - his argument was that he warned us a day before therefore he was expecting us to obey the rule; he got nervous for not listening to his demand! ) I finally paid him cash for the minibar items we had; the funny part is that he admitted that i can pay by credit card anywhere else in town but at the villa ( there is a lot more to talk about WHY cash only option accepted here ) 3. No $ sign on booking description for minibar in order to make you aware at the time of booking that items in the fridge are to be paid as extras 4. Safety concern regarding lack of handrail at the spiral staircase that helps to hold on it in case of tripping or falling.

A good location on the way to Poiana Brasov - You MUST have a car though, in order to easily access the site and not rely on public transportation.

The hotel is very luxurious and romantic. The room is very big and very nicely designed. There is a very beautiful balcony in the nature of the room. breakfast is great.

NOT adults only as advertised...lots of children NOT available WiFi on second floor NO card purchase in hotel, cash only policy (?) NO bills for purchases given and NO bill for the hotel stay was provided. For 5Stars establishment I expects the beds linen to be changed daily......was not for our whole duration (3 days) Hotel staff decided breakfast will only be served in open garden area......really? It was cold and wet from overnight rain..... NOT SURE IF THE 5 STARS ARE WELL EARNED. I will not recommend this to any of my friends

Although we had a king sized bed, the blanket was smaller so we weren't able to enjoy it fully. Also only 1 pillow. No mosquito screens in front of the windows.

Very quiet location surrounded with nature, but still only a short 5 minute taxi drive away from the city center. Walking there is also possible, takes about 20 minutes down a steep road (take the taxi back up). Lovely breakfast, with possibility to sit outside. Our room was big and very classy, with a comfortable king sized bed and balcony.

They have not change the towels in a bath shower and candels shall be removed from the room due to toxic smell. Not renew the shower gel and shampo for the second day stay and toilet paper not any spare left around.

The bed, not a 5* bed for sure. My body hearts a bit after sleeping 3 nights there. The mattresses is way to soft and thin. There is an obsession with paying cash and right as you consume something. For eg. We asked the staff for more water, they came with the water and wanted us to pay it right away. We payed and told them that we also consumed the water from minibar and we need toilet paper. When we went out for a walk they entered the room to check the minibar and when we arrived they immediately asked us for the money. They replaced the water in the minibar but the toilet pare no :)). I really don't understand this obsession, if someone pays so much for a night there for sure will have money to pay the water or whatever, and at that price it shouldn't matter if they pay a water anyway. It's a pity because the place is wonderful, it really is, it's a dream, though this is not 5* service.

The room looks wonderful, it's big, it has the spa in the room, a big terrace, lovely. The location is great, close to the city but in a quiet place, close to Poiana Bv as well. The breakfast was great, the breakfast coffee not so much. The staff was helpful. We ft great there, the place and the room looks like a dream.

there is smoking allowed in the common area. they don’t allow any outside food so no delivery. the WiFi doesn’t work in the rooms upstairs.

I was nearly bitten to death by mosquitoes - on 25th October when mosquito season is over in Bucharest! There are no insect screens on the windows, which I think the owner needs to change urgently, and so you can’t open a single window without them spending the night swatting insects (I killed 15 in an hour while sitting in bed) and then being in a lot of pain for days afterwards (mine are so bad I have thought about seeing a doctor, I’m bleeding in places). We booked the King Suite but the room smells very damp due to the sunken bath (a lovely feature but not much use if your guests daren’t open any windows, hence the damp). The staff member on day 2 was very rude and chased us constantly for money, despite there being no indication that we were about to do a runner! There are also discrepancies between the Booking.com booking and the stay: the address is wrong (it is not 45 it is 27), there is no kettle in the room, there is no deposit to pay, tea and coffee is charged at 10 Lei per drink (except for 2 coffee pods in your room). Finally, they DO NOT TAKE CARDS!! We were forced to get back in our car and drive to a cash point to get out cash to pay for dinner when we had just returned, tired, from a full day out. We were able to pay for the room itself using Revolut but it was to a mobile phone number so very disconcerting in terms of potentially being scammed. No receipt was offered. Note to the owner - Something that would be very easy to fix: First impressions are poor: you have to ask for everything - there is no bottle opener for the minibar; there was only one robe and slippers for a couple; there is only one pillow etc…all of that makes it feel like hard work. Just do those easy fixes first time round, before the guest arrives. Then when they do arrive, staff should say sorry when things are wrong (like not taking cards etc) instead of shrugging like it’s not their fault.

The furnishings are appropriate for a boutique hotel: classy. The food from a local restaurant Luther-Lounge was tasty and arrives in 45 mins (you can eat in the dining room). They sell wine and beer. Don’t ask for gin and tonic though because there is gin but no tonic…! It is quiet; you don’t hear the other guests. The bed was reasonable in terms of comfort but they only provide one pillow. We could probably have asked for more. The lights in the wired up in a way that only someone insane can understand but you work it out after several attempts. There is plenty of wardrobe space. Bathroom is fine although nothing special. Sunken bath is a very nice feature. The whole place looks good. That is where most of the attention has gone and that pays off in terms of visual impact.

The breakfast was amazing, the location was great, but only if you have a car. Rooms nice, clean and big enough..however they might should think of changing cleaning company as me and my friend both got an allergy from the bed sheets. We are sure it wasn’t food allergy or shower gels as it was bothering as only the time laying in the bed. Otherwise is it beautiful romantic hotel.

They have a lot of photos of every room groupped together and while paying the highest price we got a normal room. Decent, but I think they should show all rooms on the website and show which ones are booked or have special rules like booking at least 2 nights
