How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Prettry much everything. When I first saw the 9.8 rating, my first thought was - where is the catch? Well there's no catch. Raluca & Adina (I hope I spelled the name correctly) - keep up the good work, I would give you rating 12 if I could! Now, for details. We were family of 2 adult + 3 teenagers, took double room + family apartment. The rooms are large, plenty space for all. There are a variety of breakfasts (not served as buffet, but there are 9 options you can choose daily!!!). The location is quiet side street, yet it is great - AFI mall is 4 mins drive, Old center is 10 mins drive. Can state for public transportation - didn't use any. Parking is on the street but during the week we stayed there was always availabilty. Besides all that Raluca (the owner) is always available for any request - if not in person, then via whatsapp in a matter of minutes. Summary - when we are to return to Brasov - we will not look for any other accomodation :) NB. Raluca, please send our kind regards to the housekeeper Olesya - we didn't have a chance to say goodbye in person - but her smile and kindness was a great thing to start the morning with.

Excellent property. You find everything you need and even better. Very good breakfast. Spotless clean.impeccable service. Parking available in front of villa. Nothing else to say, just perfect.

The property is beautiful, well maintained and very clean. It’s located on a quiet street (much better than the noisy old city). The hosts are nice and welcoming, and overall we’ve had a good stay.

It is highly recommended! Amazing staff, the owner of the place really went out of her way to serve. Very nice place, clean. The breakfast was excellent. The room and the whole place is very beautiful, spacious, new and clean Strongly recommends!

Impeccable service! Fantastic Host, very kind and helpful! Breakfast is very very nice and all staff work hard with a smile on their face. They even provided the specific breakfast I asked for my younger child and it wasn’t that simple- I’m so thankful for such service. The service was beyond my expectations because the host was so kind to even do laundry washing for us as we needed our personal towels washed after swimming pool. And we weren’t charged for it. My kids want to come back to stay there especially because they love the cat on-site :-) thank you all in Villa V for a lovely stay and for your care.

Very nice and clean family - suite with two bedrooms and very comfy beds. Very good breakfast which it can be ordered the day before. The Owner (Raluca) was really nice host, ready to help with everything one may need. I highly recommend it.

Not the greatest location from which to see old town Braşov (~3.5 km), but if you are using Braşov as a base of operations to explore the surrounding areas, this is a good place to use. There was at least one very good restaurant within easy walking distance (Chef Boutique) and lots of nearby shopping.
Very clean, comfortable, modern, and attractive. The owners were absolutely lovely. The breakfast was tasty, the wifi strong, and the room (on two levels) was spacious. The communal kitchen was convenient, home-made wine (free) was a nice touch, as was access to the outside garden seating area.

This was the best accommodation we had during our 1 week in Romania. It is really a luxury villa where you will feel like a billionaire. :D but it is family business and all are really nice and accommodating. The room had jacuzzi which we appreciated after our hike. There is also a terrace. For breakfast you can choose from several options- we tried 4 of them and all were delicious. Would come again if in Brasov ❤

During summer rooms can get a bit extra warm .

The villa is very clean, Raluca and staff are extremely welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was delicious with many options to choose each day, including vegetarian options, which my girlfriend appreciated. The jacuzzi in the room was a bonus for an already spacious and beautiful room. It's a rare find, and would recommend it without hesitation.

The experience was excellent. Raluca is very professional especially with the arrangement for access/keys etc. Probably the best Booking.com experience to date. A word of warning. There appear to be two steets of this name on the GPS in Brasov. Make sure that you select the address near the centre of city
