After I booked I received a message containing some usefull information about the stay. The message talked about early check-in, late check-out, the usage of kitchen, coming with pets. I think it's better to include them in the general description of the accomodation in order to know it before. I think it is not correct to know that you have to pay to use the kitchen after the reservation. I specifically asked to ensure there was kettle in the room as mentioned in the description, but it wasn't there even if they said to me it would have been there. Nevertheless everything else then was perfect and we had a quite and pleasant stay.

The room was very clean. The courtyard is pretty and after a certain time is silent. The accomodation is at 15-20 minutes walking distance from the city center. Towels and bed linen are furnished.

I sadly was too early for the garden to be open already. But they did some landscaping that looked very promising. So I expect this to be a very nice addition when it opens. The Internet isn't completely reliable, which was a bit unfortunate, since it was a deciding factor for me. Sometimes it works great, sometimes it was very slow and sometimes it was completely gone for some time. I also recomend an extention cord with multiple outlets, because there are only really two free wall outlets (and one of them is in the bathroom) without unplugging the bedside light, the TV or the Internet. But there are a lot of places in the city that have access to fast and stable internet connection.

The Room was nice and spacious. The bed was comfortable. I didn't opt for the breakfast, since I mostly just drink coffee. There is a great coffee shop right on the other side of the street. Everyone is very welcoming and attentive. If you prefer something a bit more independent than your classic hotel room (small kitchen&fridge, personal entrance...) this is a great place. Very good public transpot connection, some nice places to eat, for coffee or drinks, and to just walk arround the neighborhood. There is a supermarket 5 Minutes down the road and public transport stops for buses and trams only a few minutes away. If you prefer to walk, you'll reach Unirii Square in 10-15 Minutes with connection to busses in all directions and the underground metro, right at the edge of oldtown.

The bathroom looks nice at first glance, but there are a few major flaws: there is no place at all to put your things: no shelf, no cupboard, nowhere. The sink is very small and you can't put anything there either. You simply have to store everything outside the bathroom and then go out to get it as and when you need it. The shower is fine and has really good water pressure, but the tiles on the floor are very slippery and this, combined with the fact that the floor slopes unusually steeply towards the back wall, means that I nearly fell several times. For this reason, I won't be returning - I simply don't dare. The daily cleaning of the room is inadequate. The bed is made, the bathroom, for example, is not checked at all. There is no manned reception. I had to wait for someone to turn up to check in and they didn't speak English, so I was just given keys and shown to my room. No welcome, no information, no nothing. If you need advice or information along the way, it's not available in practice. The room faces the street, where there is noise from many cars and especially trams. There is also a lot of noise from the restaurant downstairs, at least until midnight. I had to sleep with earplugs, but that solved the problem and I slept quite well. According to the description, there is a balcony. This is not correct. There are 3 double glass doors that can be opened, but they are just doors with a grille and a flowerpot, so there is no balcony where you can sit or stand.

I stayed in the Executive Suite, which was extremely spacious and comfortable. It looked exactly like the pictures. I enjoyed the good seating area with a nice sofa and armchair, and the bed was perhaps the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in at a hotel. WiFi was very fast and reliable.

The hotel includes breakfast but you have to book your place one day before, which makes it not so convenient. It was the reason why we didn’t try it. The hotel is not close to the city centre but it’s not difficult to move around if you use Uber or Bolt as they are cheap.

The apartment was good value for money. The room was very nice and it was always clean.

There was no kettle / tea / coffee in the room. It was a little basic. Other guests were quite noisy and you could hear them from your room.

The building, the stairs, it is not a vila/pension.

The room was modest for a rate of 180 lei. The metal stairs are inaccessible, and the building resembles a student dormitory. Shared balcony, adjoining rooms. It was warm and clean.The vila has several buildings. The building behind the reception is not quite right.

The last time I stayed here, the bed was more comfortable. Though I appreciate the care for cleanliness, the perfume from the cleaning products was a bit too strong for me.

My second time at Vila Sia and I will surely come again. I appreciate the location, the nice clean rooms, the easy self-check-in procedure, and the good communication with the staff on the Booking messages service.

The door handle to the bedroom was broken on our arrival, and couldn't report to staff as no one in reception when we would get back from our days out. The room we stayed in was lovely but very noisy traffic when trams passing.

Wonderful location just in 15 min walk to the Old Town. You had all the necessary facilities and amenities inside the tidy apartment. Amazing host (Anga) who responded very fast to all of our requests. Will totally come back and recommend to anyone!

There could have been a bar of soap or shampoo. There was only liquid soap like the ones you wash your hands with.

The rooms were the same as the photos. It was safe and had a Balkan restaurant. The woman was friendly.

The pictures on the site is misleading-you are not staying in a beautiful old building, but a rather soulless block of rooms next to a restaurant. The metal stairs are noisy especially when one is trying to sleep. I was scared to use the towels, since there is a fine if you get any make up on them?! The reception carpet creates a poor first impression of a very reasonable and nice room to stay.

Room was spacious and clean and while no expensive fixtures or fittings; everything was fairly new and in good working condition. Aircon and fridge available which was great during the very hot days. Thought was given to what the customer would want; e.g. glass door to let in more light; with block out blinds for sleeping. Good value for money.
