First of all: the location. From everywhere (room, restaurant,spa) you will be amazed by the imposing castle view. There are very few locations in Europe that can offer something similar. Because we were checked in 2 hrs later (exceptional situation) ,we had our rooms upgraded free of charge and a complimentary wine bottle. All personnel very polite and attentive to our family needs. Breakfast - very nice. Family friendly place. Excelent inside swimming pool, dry and wet saunas.

Only one negative thing to mention, the jacuzzi did not work the entire Friday afternoon, the water was colder than the one in the pool, and even after complaining about it nothing improved until the next day…. However all was forgotten thanks to the great overall experience 😄

The hotel is new and extremely clean! I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a hotel with this much attention to cleanliness! The rooms are spacious enough, nicely furnished, fully equipped and the view is spectacular, no matter which room you book. The staff is really friendly and welcoming, they are always eager to help, with a smile on their faces. The spa area is not that big, but very clean and comfortable, the pool had a good temperature and wasn’t very crowded.

Regarding hotel, everything was perfect. City does not have much to offer except Castle, so 2-3 days for this location is enough.

View from the room is what makes this hotel incredible. Also, having lunch/diner with a view to the castle is something special. All the rest was really nice, facilities, modern design, spa, staff was very friendly, food was also really good.

This wasn't the first time I stayed at WERK, and it most certainly won't be the last either. It's one of my favorite places to stay in all of Romania. Everything is great, and I really mean everything - the parking, the rooms, the view, the spa, the personnel, the food, and the delicious cocktails. Keep it up!

The gym could definitely benefit from improvement. I am sure that some weights would be appreciated by tourists and not so costly.

The highlight of our trip was the castle view from our room. We also appreciated the cleanliness, the comfortable bed, the attention to details (like the chocolates we found in our room at check in and the quality toiletries). The breakfast was very nice, offering a wide variety of food, pastry, coffee and tea.

Had some issues with drainage/extraction in shower (extractor is motion sensor based - stopped after you leave bathroom which isn't the best design).

Great and very unique location hard to compare with other hotels. Castle literally across the road and you can see it out the window from your bed. Rooms are well sized for double rooms. Room was nice, view good, modern setting. Hotel overall was very nice, pool/spa, brilliant restaurant downstairs (up there with the best in Romania). Staff very nice, plenty of parking (and free).

The fitness area needs some more equipment. The pool could have been a bit warmer by 2 degrees.

Again for my second time there the water in the pool it was cold. 1 year ago i visited and water was cold and i got as respose that it is 8 am and takes a while for the water to get warm, this time i was at the spa at 8 pm… water still cold. disappointing, next time i’ll consider to stay at another hotel in the area with half of the price since the spa isn’t a spa

I love the view of the castle, it is always nice and warm, clean, good coffee, good breakfast, they have amazing odorizants all over the public spaces

There are few to mention, but not deal breakers. Surroundings are not very appealing since roads need restoration and at night does not seem a very safe area. Saunas and jacuzzi were not working properly. Also rooms need more attention to details: shower drain clogged lead to stains on walls and water overflow on bathroom floor.

The view from rooms is fabulous. Pool is nice. The masseuse is fantastic, I recommend a session with her. Restaurant is good. I would stay again when in town.

Absolutely Nothing

This was a Christmas treat to me n my wife who was born and raised next to the castle and now lives in England for the last 15 years and From the room , the spa and wellness facilities were all 10 out of 10 and I’m gutted we didn’t book longer. The food is out of this world in the restaurant. All topped off with the mind blowing views of the Castle Corvin.

The only thing that I didn’t like is the jacuzzi works with timetable, so depends on the time that you go to the swimming pool it might not be working :( So make sure to ask the reception the timetable before you go there ;)

In front of the castle, modern, comfy bed, good amenities in the room, complementary water, chocolate, tea/coffee… good breakfast, sauna, swimming pool, jacuzzi , hot water, heater … staff are friendly and speak English.
