How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Bad smell in the room every morning, like you are sleeping in the kitchen not in the hotel room, and this situation is not exemption, same time i talk with reception about problem and isnt fixed in last 2 years. Small pillows has dirty stains on it. Some of stuff isnt cooperative at all, they look like robots nothing more or less then somebody told them to do. I asked to be fixed some problem in the room and when i came back after few hours problem persist.
Breakfast, spacious room, location, staff in restaurant, cleanliness in the bathroom.

The room was big and clean, so as the bathroom. Generous breakfast. Had to choose in the evening between 4 options (also could combine), then it was already waiting at the table reserved for us. , Close to bus station, to coffee shops, restaurants/bistro.

I didn't give a 10 because the sink in my room was clogged and it was uncomfortable. I also think the daily cleaning could have been done better.
I traveled for business. It is a good hotel to stay in. The room is large and comfortable. The staff is nice and helpful. The breakfast is normal. The location is convenient and quiet.

Nice place, in a small oasis with restaurants and places to buy groceries. The city center is 40 minutes walking, a nice Walk and some nice restaurants on the way. The room was ok and clean. Free parking outside. 50 meters from the residence there is a coffee shop that sells coffee but it serves it almost cold, and another 10 meters more there is a lovely bakery with the most welcoming man in Bucarest. I recommend this place.

The hotel is much better than the photos. Is fully renovated and I high recommend it!!! The receptionist was very polite! Quite place! A nice and cosy restaurant as well as cafes, bakery, bar and super market at walking distance! The tube metro aviatorilor 10 min walking distance. Close to Causescou museum, the lake and floreasca park.

The AC located only in first space thus for adults to have nice temperature the kids have to freeze... There is a very large and comfortable balcony however no view and the AC engine makes it noisy and wet to seat there. The breakfast is OK, no large variety and not too tasty, if you hungry it's OK. The location is Terrible (except for the sushi) There is no parking however lots of free space near the hotel at least during the evenings... We asked for towels replacement received only 2 (we were 5).
We arrived at noon, the room key was already waiting for us. The rooms are big and comfortable. There are 2 spaces: 1 for adults and one for kids. The shower is very comfortable. There is wonderful wifi reception everywhere... The bed is great. There are very good sushi restaurants near by.

We didn't dislike anything.
It was a good location just outside the centre of Bucharest where my friend and I stayed for the Bucharest Half Marathon. The hotel was clean and had nice bathrooms and a sauna on the bottom floor which I was really happy with.

No help with luggage. Inability of night staff to answer questions in respect to shortening/lengthening of stay. Water stains on ceiling and closet doors that do not close should be adressed.
