How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Fantastic location, and a very clean comfortable accommodation. The room was really good, the kitchen and bathroom facilities were great too. The staff was kind, welcoming and they seemed to be constantly cleaning the apartment. It always smelt fresh. This is not a party hostel but a quiet, peaceful place for mature travellers. I really enjoyed my stay and hope to come back again.

The walls are pretty thin, so if other people are being loud during the night you could easily hear them and get woken up. Other than that, everything was perfectly fine.
It is very clean and comfortable. Perfect for staying over for a few nights.

I had a hard time carrying my suitcase up the stairs. They were pretty steep and narrow.
I stayed in a single room. It was clean, warm, and comfortable. Walking distance to the center. The only problem with the facility was that it had steep stairs, and I had to carry my luggage alone.

Good value for money accommodation at a 15 minute walk from the city center. There's parking outside (but it's not free of charge). It's nice and clean with all the necessary amenities.

The bathrooms are not very clear, what you can use and when
We stayed only for one night. Therefore I dont feel like I can give a good feedback as we literally only slept here. It was comfortable enough for one night

I didn't particularly like the bed which wasn't very comfortable but it's not a big deal.
I was positively surprised because I expected something rundown for such a low price but it was quite well-kept. And the room was quite spacious. There's a common kitchen with free tea/coffee and even fruits.

A&A was a wonderful place to stay in Szeged. My host was full of suggestions on how best to enjoy my time in the city. The place is not far from the centre walking at all, and is near the bus station and the bus line to the train station. The room is very very comfortable, well equipped, modern and cozy. It was a great experience overall!

As is often the case in hostels Wi-Fi does not reach every corner of every room, so for videoconferencing it is more reliable to use cellular.
The hostel is located in the center of the city on a quiet street close to the Bulevar Oslobodjenja and Futoski Park, a walking distance from the train station. The is a cozy pizza restaurant next door and a nice coffee place one block away. The room I've got was spacious it had a wardrobe and a table that can serve as a working desk. Also there is a large common room with a kitchen where one can work during the day.

The toilets were not cleaned often. Only once a day.

Maybe I would say that you have to be really really quiet because everyone can hear any movement

Very nice, clean rooms. Easy system for checking in and checking out. Good wifi. The bathroom has everything. The kitchen is well-equipped with appliances, coffee, tea, fruits. A perfect place to stay and very cheap. There is a restaurant in front and it is close to Mercator and Promenade.

We really enjoyed our stay, this was the best hostel where we have ever stayed! They helped us with white papers. Clean, quiet, the room had enough space. We had a closet, a spacious table and two chairs. My husband could get some work done in the comfortable space. And we had two night tables and a lamp! So cute and comfy. We also appreciate, that the table in the kitchen was always full with snacks for the guests. We had everything we needed and more, so I definitely recommend this place for staying.

Nothing, everything was good
The hostel isn’t exactly like a hostel, it looks like a home or guesthouse but so comfortable and clean, which is so important. Also it was quite there, 15 minutes by walk to the city center.
