I was searching for a hotel near the airport since I had an early flight and I was happy to book this hotel. But since it is close to the airport, there is constant air traffic and if you are a light sleeper it might be disrupting your sleep.

I had a connecting flight early in the morning, so I needed a place to stay overnight that is close to the airport. Since I was travelling alone, the room was big and spacious. The upper floor with a terrace for breakfast was also super nice and the staff was friendly.

Lack of food and drink options in the hotel and its direct vicinity (advice: eat in Belgrade before), And the bathroom had a bit of a funny smell (but it was clean).

Vicinity to the airport is great - I had a super early flight out of Belgrade and I was really concerned about airport transfer at 4:00 AM (and i could not afford Hilton etc rates). I choose to stay at AirStar for the short transfer, which I guessed to be reliable this being an airport hotel. The taxi ride took less than 5 mins. I paid EUR 20 for the transfer, and some reviews complain about this. However, I imagined the taxi fare to be a part of the overall room rate, and in my mind this then makes it an all right value for an airport hotel. Hotel Airstar offers efficient, business style rooms. Good WiFi.

Even if it's close to the airport, the taxi prices are as if you would go from the city center, so it won't save your money. The bus stop is still pretty far as well.

A normal room as expected, nothing too good or too bad to mention. Clean and quite.

This hotel is an ideal choice for short trip (even for business trips), since it is really close to the airport. The location is still a bit messy since this part of Belgrade is under development. The room was pretty big, but comfortable.

Room a bit cold. A bit of a walk from nearest bus station, and buses are infrequent. Difficult to get taxi from airport to here without paying the fixed Belgrade price, which is absurd for the distance

There was a bewildering array of switches for lights, water heater, aircon etc in the room, labelling might have been useful, I worked it out but it wasn't straightforward. Breakfast was fine, except for the "toast" bread which has to be the saddest I've ever met, Serbia has some very good bread, this was not it.

I needed a place close to the airport for a night. It was not as close as I had thought and walking to it from the airport probably wasn't a great idea. Situated in what appears to be a sort of suburban China Town the hotel is close to the airport, but not so easy to get to. Very friendly helpful English speaking staff. Room I had was huge with its own balcony. Bathroom by contrast was on the small side but functional. Breakfast was basic but adequate even foe a vegan, plenty of good fruit unlike the usual plasticky hotel fruit. There is a reasonably frequent bus service close to the hotel that goes to the city or to the airport (you do need the Belgrade Travel App though as all tickets are electronic only).

The people who built the hotel do not know how to build safe stairs. They are uneven and a trip hazard. The stairs in the lobby are a real trip hazard. Other than that the hotel is quite lovely.

Breakfast starts at 07.00 AM, and since they are near the Airport and many guests stay there for the early flight, but you do not get breakfast.

The area is behind the airport, very narrow streets, and of course loud because of the departing flights. Soundproofing in the hotel is though very good!

Employees on the reception were very friendly and helped us organise a transfer from/to the airport. Rooms are big and clean. Nearby the airport, so very good option to relax between night flights.
