How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Cannot find any fault.
Hotel was very easy to find with parking available. All staff were friendly, polite and spoke perfect English (which helped us considerably. Room was exceptional, it was clean, spacious and comfortable. Evening meal and breakfast were very satisfying and good value for money.

Smoking in a cafe and restaurant.
Great new hotel with a wonderful location. All was fine. I would definitely recommend it. Breakfast was amazing.

well located close to highway, but a bit of a charmless neighbourhood. And indeed we noticed the neighbours' barking dog too (but this is nothing the hotel can help).
Very nice people in a small hotel with a family-run feel. Very very friendly staff and big room.

The only thing I would say was that the shower head did not have a holder so you could stand under it but that apart the bathroom facilities were better than much more expensive hotels.
Dead easy to find which is important when you have had a long drive and are tired. The staff were brilliant and as a big bonus to me, spoke great English. Food was very nice too. Would not hesitate to use again.

There is no elevator. Reception girl offered to carry our suitcase…. but anyway building such a big hotel without elevator…. Breakfast was delicious, but quite expensive.

Great transit location in Nis, near the highway. We were greeted by friendly, english speanking staff. Our room was comfy and clean. Breakfast is 5 euros per person. There are a couple of predefined breakfast options you can choose from (eg. omlette, fried eggs, toast, cereal, etc.). Also coffee or tea is included in the breakfast price. We were satisfied with our choice. There is a small parking lot right in front of the hotel.

Everything was OK
Very friendly staff on the reception and the restaurant. Big room, very clean and amazing comfortable big beds! The food in the restaurant is very good. Free parking in front of the hotel. I really like this place!

Is it smoking inside the restaurant, but this is happening in all Serbia not only here. The location is near to a busy main road, so expect to have some background noice, but the window isolate pretty well .
Good location for one night stay during a long road, like we had. The girl from the reception was very kind to us and provided all the informations and services we needed. Free parking. PS: Take also the breakfast, is greay value for the money!

The room was situated facing the street, so it was pretty noisy.
Breakfast was good, but it isn't a buffet, just some predefined options. Comfy, clean rooms. Great value for money. Location is close from highway. The restaurant is a plus.

Brand new, well equiped and spacious room. Top location next to the highway for trips to/from southern europe, parking in front of the hotel in a private area(it is not locked, protected, restricted but you have the feeling that it is safe)

The staff is very friendly and really cares about the customers. We felt welcomed and enjoyed our stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable with new, modern furniture. The food is very tasty and cheep. The manager offered us the dessert for free as he celebrated his birthday. I would go again to this hotel and I strongly recommend it.

Very nice place, clean with very,very comfortable beds. Very close to the highway. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Good food in the restaurant. Free parking and WiFi. Highly recommend this place!
