This time I personally was not very happy with the service at the restaurant as I could not get the waiter's attention for 15 mins at breakfast. I stood near the cash register (the place where they take orders usually), trying to get eye contact while he was chatting to customers at the adjacent table, glanced at me, did not register me at all and continued chatting even after I spoke to the other waiter about my query and returned to my table. This is really unacceptable and unprofessional. A turn-off for me. If it happens again, I'll be sure to report him to the owners. And one more thing that I had a problem with was internet connection at the restaurant - in the room it worked fine but the same network at the restaurant kept coming up with ERROR 431 after each authentication attempt. The staff shrugged their shoulders and told me to clean the cookies (yes, I could google it too and see that it is cookie-related) but the question still remained why it worked in my room and didn't connect at the restaurant - I got no assistance with that and could not fix that myself. Highly frustrating as I could not do any work from the restaurant.

It's not the first time we (my husband, myself and our baby) stay at the hotel and we will definitely be returning. The things we like the most are the size of the rooms (very spacious), the fact that breakfast is included in the price and the breakfast menu (a lot of dishes to choose from and they are all very tasty). Also, this time we had a delivery to the hotel, left the money at reception as we were out all day, and received our order without any problems.

Location is something they can only do a little about. Banjica is as it is, so mentioning it may be a bit silly, but if this were a hotel in some other part of Belgrade, I would undoubtedly prolong my stay. Their parking is a bit small and sometimes overbooked, but hey, it's there and it's secure! The only other thing is that the restaurant is closing at 10 PM, so any food you may want to get in the middle of the night must be ordered from outside (in Belgrade, that's easy).

It's a small but amazing hotel! There are tons of things to love about it - Rooms are big and clean with no "funny" smells. Windows and doors are soundproof and secure. The bathrooms are big enough and clean, and the towels are soft and smell fresh. The sleeping room may be small, but it offers enough comfort. The living room is bright and spacy. There's even a kitchen in a room, so some quick food preparation is possible (but with a restaurant in the lobby, there's no need for it). I've been to tons of hotels in the Balkans, and this one really surprised me. It's new, offers a lot for the money and, most importantly, it's clean! I would recommend it for family, leisure, and work trips. The lobby restaurant is good for breakfast and to enjoy nicely prepared and tasty food for lunch or dinner. There's absolutely no need to search for a restaurant with such an offer right in a hotel. Oh, and coffee is good! One thing I liked a lot was the hotel and restaurant staff. Girls at reception tried their best to help out with any wish we may have had. Cleaning ladies are always smiling and running around, making sure everything is clean and in the right place. Their restaurant staff is amazing and professional, and my little one (daughter) had a really nice time playing hide and seek with one of the waiters. For sure, we'll be back to Maksimum Hotel! My wife loved it, my daughter enjoyed it and I appreciate it.

Wi-Fi is absolutely awful. Needs to be changed. It is not me or my phone. I stayed in 3 different hotels in Belgrade this time and everywhere else the WiFi was perfect.

Good hotel close to any public transportation, currency exchange, coffee shop, groceries and street food. Great breakfast. You get to choose one of the options in the menu. It is always fresh, hot and tasty. The personnel at the desk and in the restaurant is professional and very helpful.
