When you are traveling and looking for places that are located in the city center, sometimes it can be more than 30 minutes walk from the city center. However, this is not the case. Apartment DoDoLu is located at Slavija, the heart of Belgrade. With this I mean everything is just there. The best Belgrade's bakery (Trpković), local restaurants, various cafes that are serving breakfast, smoothies or bowls of oatmeal. All this and much more is all around, a maximum of 10 min walk. As soon as you step out from the apartment, you will hit the Saint Sava Temple, the largest Orthodox monument in the country. Public transport from Slavija has super fast connections that can take you anywhere you want in this capital. Vračar is one of the oldest neighbors and has a special atmosphere that gives a real old city spirit. Tasmajdan Park is also a 10-minute walk. Knez Mihajlova can be reached on foot or by transport. The apartment itself is perfect. Nice, tidy, clean, warm (we were here in January). Very comfortable for two! And when I say clean, it was clean indeed; from the bed linen, floor, the kitchen and the bathroom. DoDoLu definitely filled out my expectations and I happily recommend it to anyone who likes to explore places and is looking for good coffee and food. DoDoLu, thank you for having us!

Apartment is on a relatively quiet street, no problems with sleep, but not too far from Slavija Square with musical fountain. Then you can walk in Kralja Milana street to Republic Square and, eventually, Old City and Danube. On the other side a majestic temple of Saint Sava is 300m away, you can hear its bells from the apartment (quiet enough). Two supermarkets are nearby, Maxi and Aroma and a lot of restaurants and cafes. Kitchenette is small but has all needed equipment. Need to note a good Internet connection (about 90 Mbit/s and very stable). Thanks, Miloš!

I usually stay in pricier places, but lately while visiting Belgrade, higher-rated properties have caused me distress by being unclean. This is where culturally differing standards of cleanliness come to surface while despite high property score, the cleanliness at the scene is worrisome - with some apartments even having black mold in the corners of showers etc (sadly, as per my accommodation prior to this one). I chose this property because it had a high cleanliness score and indeed, the property delivered in this aspect. Not only was it clean but it was practical and accessible being on the ground floor of a building. The host is proactive, punctual and accommodating. This is not always the case in Belgrade. Location is excellent with the Airport A1 Shuttle stop near by, the city center 3,4, bus stops away, and the renowned Temple of St. Sava down the street. Smaller in size but well-equipped, clean, well-located.....easy and enjoyable. Good value for money.

The apartment didn’t have any salt, sugar, oil or basic cooking necessities, and it doesn’t really pay off to buy them just for couple of days. It would have been better if we had basic things, but overall it was a minor issue that was easily solved and it didn’t bother us that much.

The location is great, the apartment is cozy and very comfortable, and the host is very kind. The apartment didn’t have an iron, but he got it for us immediately.

The apartment is located in a fantastic location. All tourist attractions of the city of Belgrade are in the immediate vicinity. The apartment is beautifully furnished. The cleanliness is at a high level. The location is perfect for tourists and business travelers. There are a lot of restaurants and cafes nearby. The host is kind and will help you with whatever you need.

The apartment is on the ground floor. Great for summers, not that good for winter. Luckily there was AC otherwise it would be extremely cold. Moreover there is lack of fresh air since it's a busy street and it's not very practical to keep the windows open

Everything you need for a short stay is there - comfortable bed, kitchen utilities, functional bathroom with good hair dryer (which is rare). Host is very accomodating and easy to communicate with
