How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. There was no problem. All perfect
The owner was waiting at the door for us, when we arrived he was really welcoming and communicative. Everything went very smoothly and I was impressed by the love for detail in the place!! The kitchen provides you with anything you possibly need for cooking, the bathroom was extremely clean and the bedroom really clean as well. Perfect for long stay.

This apartment was one of the cleanest accommodation I’ve ever been. Everything was super clean and tidy. The apartment is very equipped. There are shutters on the windows for more comfortable sleeping. The host are very nice and flexible. We left our car in the garage/parking house close to the apartment. It costs 13€/day.

The apartment exceeded our expectations: it's clean, spacious, and fully equipped with all appliances. Everything is new and well thought out to the smallest detail. It's rare to find an apartment in such condition, and even with all the consumables (tea, coffee, milk, all household chemicals). High-speed internet. Located in the center. Hospitable hosts, ready to help. I recommend, 12/10.

Very little. The only thing to remark on is that the beds, and especially the sofa bed, are not very confortable. This might be ok for one or two nights, but not much more!
The property is beautifully designed, clean, modern and has all facilities, meaning that despite the fact that it is compact, it delivers everything it promises.

The apartment looks exactly like the photo. Even better in reality. The host was super-nice! Aleksandr helped us with everything and was in touch 24/7. The apartment is fully equipped for the stay. I definitely recommend to stay here!

Apartment Size is bit smaller.
Excellent furnishing and Superclean apartment. The most modern modular kitchen with all amenities well placed inside the cabinets. Ikea styled interior and close to supermarkets and restaurants. 2 min walk to nearby busstop for connectivity to all areas. Host Ana and family are super helpful too.

Location is great near Slavija, Sv. Sava church but still in the street without too much traffic noise. Apartment is spacious, with modern interior and has everything that is needed for pleasant stay. Hosts were pleasant and kind.

Sve preporuke za Anin apartman. Udobnost i osjećaj dobrodošlice je jedna od mnogih osobina koja krasi ovaj smještaj. Mnogo se obraća na detalje, što je jako pozitivno. Za ljubitelje kuhinje tu mogu da nađu sve od najmanjih sitnica do stvari koje koriste profesionalci. Izuzetno je čisto i praktično na svakom koraku. Lokacija takođe igra bitnu ulogu, što je ovdje još jedan plus. Nije bučno, možete imati svoj smiraj na balkonu koji gleda na zelenilo. Vlasnica je jako ljubazna i veoma ažurna sa odgovorima na bilo koja pitanja.

You may be sad that this apartment is not yours :)
There is everything necessary for a comfortable life. We felt at home. The landlady is hospitable and responsive. The apartment is really modern and comfortable. Near there are supermarkets, cafes and a lot of bus stops. The street is very quiet.

This property perfectly fits our expectations, everything is perfectly clean, the apartment is well equipped and functional. We liked everything about it! Freshly renovated flat, stylish and comfortable. We stayed for 3 nights and highly recommend it. Temple of Saint Sava is a few walking minutes away and the neighborhood has everything you wish nearby. Our hosts Ana and Aleksandar were super friendly and made this trip unforgettable. Belgrade at its best…
