How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The shower doesn’t close so there will be water all over the floor
Everything is new and nice. You have everything to be comfortable. Host is very friendly.

There was no laundry dryer in the flat.
It was in a very central location. A tram passes in front of it. There was a large market under the building. The owner and his brother were very friendly. They answered every question we asked before leaving. It was a very clean apartment. The kitchen had the necessary equipment.

There is only one chair in the kitchen There is no shower door in the bathroom
Very central location, a lot of cafe and restaurants nearby. The apartment has everything we needed, definitely will stay again when come to Belgrade

The elevator is a bit old, but every building in this city has old elevators. Since the flat was on the 2nd floor, it was not a problem.
The location of the apartment is close to the center. Underneath there is a big supermarket etc. The bus stop is under the house. Adriana was very attentive and delivered us a very clean apartment. It was much more comfortable than a hotel room.

Everything was perfect. The landlord was very nice and polite. The apartments were very clean, quiet. There is a lot of space in the apartment. Electric stove, oven, kettle, air conditioner. There is a intercom in the entrance.

As soon as you park pay the parking, we got a ticket since we sent the message 10min later
The host allowed us to leave our suitcases earlier so we didn't have to carry them around The apartment was quite comfortable and we enjoyed our stay Tv was already set on music with stereo boxes which we enjoyed

Everything was super.
Everything was super. The apartment was incredible. Andrijana as the owner of apartment was very hospital to me. This apartment is situated in the hictorical center of Belgrade. Many sights of the city are not far from apartment. Recommend this apartment to everyone !!! Of course i'll be back here in the future.

Living room is looking on a very loud street, so open window is not an option. However bedroom looks on the building yard, which is quiet. Shower was leaking a lot, you need to collect bunch of water after every showering. Rather than that all was good.
Apartment is on a great location. Couple of minutes walking distance from all city central areas. Many public transport lines are close by. As well as many restaurants and grocery stores. Host was really helpful and friendly. You can tell that apartment is newly renovated. There is everything you need for even longer stays.

Great location, nice modern and fully equipped appartment. There is 24/7 shop just outside apartment as well as bus and tram stop. Restaurants, bars and bakerys are in less than 5 minutes walk. Appartment was spotless and host Andrija is nice and helpfull.

Everything is ok
It was very modern and comfortable for my family of 4. We got lots of daylight, it was very bright. The location was perfect, had a supermarket, bakery and pharmacy in walking distance.

The doorless walk-in shower is great design but a slightly better protection from water splashing might be in order.
The apartment overlooks both the inner yard and the street. It's a modern, nicely-designed space with all necessary conveniences, which follows the standards of comfortable minimalism. During the daytime one can enjoy the dynamics of a lively main street with electric trams and busy everyday life of Belgrade. At night a quiet inner yard on the opposite side of the building brings you an enchanting cicada chirp. The place covers most of the needs of an independent traveler.

Probably the cleanest apartment we’ve ever been to. Location is great, near to all the attractions, there’s a 24/7 grocery store in the building, the host is really nice. Highly recommended.

The only thing I can think of is that there is no electric kettle
Lovely and helpful host, good location. There is a supermarket downstairs, there are many bars, restaurants and local designer shops in the area. The apartment is quiet and very clean.
