How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Very nice and cosy apartments, friendly host and quite neighborhood. The apartment has everything that is needed, it is clean and situated in 15 minutes walk from the city center. Absolutely recommended!

This is the second time we have stayed in this apartment. Very modern apartment, absolutely clean and very well equipped. There are, cafes and market within 2min walking distance. Host is very friendly and communication was professional throughout, they do really care about your comfort and experience. Excelent Wifi signal. The apartment is 10 minutes' walk from the city center.

We liked everything
All the facilities were very clean. The apartment had everything we’d need for a short term stay. The host even keeps an umbrella at the property which came in handy because it was raining a lot during our stay. The area is central, but also quiet, which was really nice.

Everything was perfect!
The apartment is really nice, in new building, equipped with new furniture, and everything is exactly as on photos, it has kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, all necessary kitchen utensils. It is on walking distance from city center, Kalemegdan fortress, Danube river. It is extremely clean, and well ventilated. The owner is also nice, polite and communicative, willing to help. For those who are coming by car, in the building basement there is a private parking place which can be used during stay free of charge. This is additional really great thing. I highly recommend this apartment for both shorter or longer stays.

The apartment has a great location. 10 minutes from Skadarlija and 15 minutes walk from Knjez Mihajlova. Clean and spacios. The apartment is equipped with everything needed for a short or a long stay.

It was a little difficult to find
Beautiful little apartment and so clean and nice. Everything was clean and worked great. The shower is big and this property is a great value. I would stay again 🤗

The view from the balcony was the only thing I didn't like, but that's a minor detail.
Modern 2-room apartment with a balcony, fully furnished, every detail making for a comfortable stay. Situated 15 minutes from park Kalemegdan and historical shopping street. There's a supermarket nearby, as well as several cafes and a bar. Waterfront is withing walking distance. Owner of the apartment was very friendly and helpful, willing to lend a hand should you encounter any problems (even not directly related to the accommodations). I would stay there again, should I visit Belgrade next time.

The property exceeded my expectations, it was very comfortable and clean. The host was great and all the instructions provided by him were easy to read and find. The apartment was close to the main attractions and everything could be reach by foot. Great stay, would recommend and return back.

Excellent apartment. Well equipped and modern with everything that you would need. Very clean with comfortable beds. Location a few minutes walk from the centre and well served with cafes, bars, and supermarkets. Communication and organisation with Milos was clear and simple.

everything was perfect! there is nothing not to dislike about this property!
everything is as described, and even better. I have never had such an amazing experience, from booking, payment and property. Apartment is in a nice quiet area. downtown close by walk. there is a lot of supermarkets around. Apartment is extra clean, and in a smart building. it’s very cozy, warm and with the small details in apartment. I just loved it.

building block is close to old industrial zone, this is a bit of small disadvantage
Very nice apartment, in good new apartment building, very clean, fully equipped - everything available - oven, dishwasher, microwave, even washing machine.. friendly owner, easy to get keys, even if we arrived after midnight. Location is close to center, easy to get around by walking..cost and value for money is excellent for this place
