How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

I liked everything—especially the location and the kindness of the host. The host spent 30 minutes showing us on the map all the important places in Belgrade to visit. One important thing that saved us was free private parking which is beneficial value in the center of Belgrade. Almost all important things are 5-10 minutes walk from the apartment. Apartman looks exactly what you see in photos. There is also a balcony where you can smoke and enjoy the view of Belgrade. The apartment had everything for cooking and also an iron and hairdryer. Heating is also possible.

3rd floor and no elevator
By the park apartment exceeded our expectations. Location can not be better, the owner is always at your service, the apartment is very well equipped and very clean. It's definitely worth the money, and we will come back.

All good. No complaints. Owner of the apartment lives closely and hence was very helpful in guiding on taxi service and any info needed.
There was no breakfast, but it being an apartment equipped with everything, I visited the super market for free things and managed my own breakfast. Basics like Tea / coffee, sugar, salt pepper, olive, cooking oil were available at the apartment.

Everything was perfect!
The host was very nice - helpful, friendly and caring! Location is amazing! Very close to parks, shopping, entertaining and walks. There is a so important free parking with this property which is very handy in the center of Belgrade

I can’t think of anything.
The owner was very friendly, helpful and nice to communicate with. He oriented us to the city with useful tips and recommendations. The owner is honest and welcoming. Parking is convenient and easy. Location of the apartment is in walking distance from many cultural and historical places.

The location of the apartment is perfect, in the heart of the Old city and in walking distance from the most interesting places. The free private parking is a big advantage for people that travel by car like we did.The host was very polite and careful, and provided very useful information. Thank you, Rajko!

The location of the apartmant is great, all the most famous sights are in wlaking distance and it has free parking. The apartment is perfectly clean and comfortable with a small kitchen equipped with all the neccesary things. The host is very kind, he helped us with the organization of our stay and he was at our disposal for any questions and concerns we had. We are looking forward for our next visit.

Perfect location and the apartment very clean and in the center.If you travel by xar it’s the best for you.The owner is the best.He told me the best places to go to eat and what are the best sights in Belgrade(all where next to the apartment).

This aptm was great! The host is very helpful and you really can’t ask for a better location. Steps away from Kalemegdan, old cobblestone streets, bars, restaurants, shops….and you get parking included! Seriously can’t be beat. Will come again!

There was nothing not to like.
It was perfect. The apartment is in the heart of the "Old City" next to the street "Knez Mihajlova" and it has a secure parking wich is esspecialy convenient for those traveling with a car. From this appartment we really felt Belgrade and the beautiful atmosphere of "Old City", its monuments and sofisticated life and culture. The appartment is very cosy. Testfuly renovated and everything we need for our stay we found on its place...Even more that we needed...Equiped kitchen, even caffe ... and much more. A/C wich was already turned on before we arrived so the place was nicely cooled and it was a really hot day outside. The host is very proffesional and he loves his work. He was on the street in front of the parking entrance waiting for us to help us to park, and he helped with the lagguge. Its close to the building entrance. After that he explaind everything about the place and places to visit. Rajko keep up with the good work You are great. Hope to see You again. I give all my recommendations for this apartment.

Our stay was very nice... The hospitality was more than expected... The room very clean and practical. Exactly as shown on the photos, the location could not have been better everything is close by... As for Ratco our host a very nice helpful person... Thank-you Ratco we will be seeing you next yr again for sure.
