We had a great time staying in Cider&Squash. It is located in a picturesque place where you can enjoy a beautiful view or go hiking. The hotel itself offers a lot of activities including a swimming pool, a sauna, a completely equipped squash room (with ping pong and badminton equipment as well) and two beautiful and playful dogs. We stayed in a family room which had a great collection of books and a fully equipped kitchen (which we didn’t use because the hosts serve unbelievably delicious breakfasts, lunches and dinners including homemade juices, wine and cider). The hosts are very friendly and do their best so that your stay is as comfortable as possible. We really enjoyed our time and will definitely come again!

Wanted to share my wonderful experience at Cider&Squash. Right from the get-go, the vibes were warm and welcoming, thanks to the charming owners, Mikhail and Vera. I can tell they genuinely care about their guests. Now, onto the food – simply divine! Fresh ingredients, fantastic flavors, and dishes that taste like they've been crafted with love and care. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. The rooms? Neat as a pin. It's evident that they take cleanliness seriously, ensuring everyone has a comfy, tidy space to relax in. The view from the terrace (check my pic out) is a real treat – a perfect spot to unwind with a drink in hand. Speaking of drinks, their welcome cider for the adults and apple juice for the kiddos hit the spot! Oh, and for those who enjoy a bit of sporty action, they've got a squash court. It’s a fun way to burn off some of that delicious food, or simply have a good time. In a nutshell, Cider&Squash is one of those places that marries comfort with class, all while keeping things down-to-earth. Big thumbs up to Mikhail, Vera, and the team. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and check in!

On the check-out, one price was shown in our app and another in Mihail's app. He explained it was due to a city tax of 10% of the price, which wasn't clearly emphasized during the reservation. We are not complaining about it, as it was not the host's fault or it wasn't a large amount, but it was just an awkward moment.

Mihail is an exquisite host, he's very discreet, but always there for anything you need. He's also an excellent chef, the food was astonishing, and the beverages are from self-grown fruit (cider is a must-try!). The accommodation makes you feel connected with nature at every step. Besides the breakfast, which was included in the price, Mihail offers an additional meal (lunch or dinner) for an acceptable price.

We had everything we wanted after a 12h drive. We've discussed with the owner to arrange a dinner and he waited us late in the evening to bring it. Was delicious, local food prepared in house along with other amethysts provided. Also, breakfast was a really nice experience. The room was big enough for 2 people, beds were comfy and was also a quiet room. Free parking in front of the property, very safe area and quiet, far away from highway noise. Communication in general was more than perfect.

One improvement I can suggest as a light sleeper - install blackout curtains/shades, especially on the east-facing rooms.

Absolutely beautiful big old (but renovated) house, amazing common areas, beautiful view. The owner is a very warm, welcoming host. I would definitely recommend to my family and friends.

The room was great. Soroundings and the hosts made it so enjoyable that we did not even notice that there is no TV set. The food as nature was faboulus. Hosts very kind and hospitable. Some of the food and all beverages home grown / produced.

For four people and long stays the rooms could be a bit small. The steep stairs are a little stressful with a two year old, but that’s nothing the owner could really change and definitely nothing that would prevent us from coming back again…for longer. When there are other Russians around the owner kind of forgets to include non-Russian speaking guests. I didn’t mind that as much as my partner did. However we happened to be around Russian guests who were very polite and made sure to translate to English at some point and keep conversation in English or German whenever the host was not around even if more Russian-speaking guests were present.

You could rate Single criteria of this place, but it wouldn’t transport the atmosphere and everything that’s in between. The owner greets you with a welcome drink and after a tiring drive…that is just wonderful. Yes, you are located more on the outskirts, but what a wonderful perfect view. You eat with the other guests which gives this place a bit of a hostel feeling. Yes the dinner is a bit pricey, but it’s three courses and drinks included as well as the best meals we had in Serbia on our two week stay. So fresh, homemade cooking. At one point I thought I was in France. There’s a pool and squash court which is really intriguing. For us it was the perfect place to end our trip in Serbia.

The experience was exceptional as a whole. Hosts were very welcoming, the rooms and service on a high level, the food is very tasty and out of ordinary. I would highly recommend this place for a vacation.

This was the highlight of our trip. Family of 4 travelling from Australia. The host, the location , THE FOOD. Our 12 year old son is still raving about it. We were treated like relatives coming for a visit. My 20yo daughter is vegan and she had options for meals. Husband and I tried out the hosts home made spirits, wines and cider. Amazing. Everyone very happy. Kids played outside with a very very friendly and relaxed dog (doesn’t jump on you). Also table tennis was fun. Sorry we didn’t have more time there.

It was just perfect. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet place to spend with family or friends and enjoy a fantastic meal prepared by the host. Rooms was rather small but was enough was for a short stay.

Really authentic place. Michael and family are so friendly and nice people. We had a great dinner with a family and that was wonderful, good conversation and drinks.

Higyne could be slightly improved. Pool is outside of main building, it's ideal for summer time, now you have to dress and undress.

Atmosphere and food are phenomenal. Also nature. Great pool. Squash room great!
