How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

There were mosquitoes in our room, unfortunately. Yes, nothing to be done about it just for your information. The entrance to the building can be missed very easily. There is no big sign of the hotel's name.
Our room was quite practical and clean. The room cleaning is done daily. The staff was very helpful and kind from the beginning of my booking to our check out. We thank them with all of our hearts. The location is quite good.

It was a perfect stay in every sense. The staff was super friendly and generous. We traveled to Belgrade for our wedding, and they kindly presented us great gifts. Definitely recommended!

There is no space for suitcases. Not enough hangers. And coffee capsules or water bottles should have been included in the price. The bathroom handle fell off every day🙂 We stayed for 4 nights.
The location, the staff, the ease of checking in and quick communication were all much appreciated. The room deco was lovely, too. Like professionals, they waived off local taxes as compensation for city water works, which meant we didn't have water for an hour.

The pillows in the bedroom weren't great made the sleep a little uncomfortable. We had an executive suite. Everything else perfect.
Location was amazing for restaurants and bars and could walk anywhere from where we were based.

In my case many electrical outlets are not working at all, nobody fixed that during our stay so we are forced to use extension cords. Exact that small incident everything else it’s was perfect.
It’s on perfect location, stuff members are really friendly and helpful. Rooms are very clean.

The only problem was the the first date elevator was not working and we had to climb 5 levels with all that buggages. Everything else was perfect.
Despite the small size , room was very comfortable with nice amenities, smart tv with apple tv (which is so convinient if u own an iphone). Nice location everything near by the foot, also the receptionist was very informative and kind.

We took the executive suite. It was a good choice. Clean and equipped with whatever you need. The isolation in the room is excellent. Location is great just couple of minutes from main attractions and shopping street. You can find plenty of markets just down the building. Friendly and helpful staff. Housekeeping was provided on daily basis. Also complimentary water, tea and coffee were provided on daily basis.

The edges around the room was full in dust, weren’t clean enough Despite that, the sheets was clean the bathroom was clean, and the room service always available

We spent only one night in the hotel so I have nothing to complain about.
We have a small but cozy and modern room with a minibar, big shower and a large bed. The location is really central but it was still very quiet in the room. I had some trouble finding a parking space on the street but at the end I did manage.

There was nothing we didn't like.
The facility was very nice. The employees were incredibly friendly and helpful. We loved the design of the room. It was very stylish and luxurious. They celebrated my wife's birthday with a wine as a gift, making a gesture. He was very kind. Thank you for everything.

I got quite a spacious room and would've loved there to be a desk & a chair (there's definitely more than enough space for that)

Sometimes was smell of cigarettes. Actually in all Belgrade people smoke in everywhere, unbelievable.
