1. Towels so small that I couldn’t wipe my face 2. The bathroom trash bin was dirty 3. The shower box in glass was broken and I allora killed myself 4. The air conditioning was broken and a very annoying dripping of water occurred on the floor all night 5. The breakfast was terrible 6. The bed was not comfortable at all 7. There were no hangings in the wardrobe 8. Considering this, way too pricey

The hostel is really nice, the staff is friendly and willing to give you any information you need. Especially the location is fantastic, you are two bus stops away from the city centre, and few minutes walking from the party mecca of Belgrade which located along the river (Splavi). Also there are two free parking places located nearby, which is also great. Also having breakfast or drinking beer on the hostel terrace is cool experience- you are basically on the river and the view is amazing.

I strongly recommend this place it is hidden jewel . First of all ambient on river side with sunrise and sunset it's priceless. Close to d city centre with great conections to city centre with public transportation ( 3 bus stops ) ,close to d main night clubs (walking distance) if u want to do clubbing u don't need to take cab to go back and fort but also quiet so when u done u can relax and have ur peace of mind . Also huge shoping center is close by ( 10 min walking distance or one bus stop ) where u can do nice shopping and get any kid of food from Chinese to KFC Mc Donalds. But i strongly recommend to eat nice homemade food at hostel made by Daky and Mely . Also in price was included nice and delicious breakfast and I got to thank that to Lilly who is in charge . Stuff was very friendly always to help menager Caki then Pele and big D night shift guys . Thank you for nice hospitality and will be back for longer stay .

The amenities in the room were not great, but we had brought our own towel, soap etc so it was fine. Everything else was great :)

We loved the location of the hostel, right along the Danube river waterfront. The room was simple but comfortable. The staff were friendly and always kept and eye on us to make sure we were comfortable, especially Mely who always went above and beyond to help us. We stayed 6 nights (originally booking 2) because we really liked the hostel. The breakfast spread was also very good, especially if you're vegetarian, they have options for Indian guests. They took a photo of us for their new wall of guests coming, which we can hopefully see when we return to Belgrade! Thank you guys for a great stay and hope to see you soon :) - Love from Joe & Neha

The stuff was very kind and polite,the breakfast was very delicious. The hostel is located and very calm area in the Danube river. You can see in the river ducks and swans. Opposite you can see Kalemegdan fortress. The rooms are perfectly cleaned and the beds are very comfortable.I really enjoy my holyday

I could easily hear the staff talking with each other or with other guests very loudly from my room. And there was a lot of noise all day which made it difficult to relax in the room. As I was arriving in the early morning, I contacted in advance the property to inform them so that I can enter earlier in a single room if it was available. The response I got was that the property was fully booked the night before. But, then checking online, I noticed that there were two single rooms available (and remained available until early morning when I checked the online platform again) in the same category as mine the night before. When I pointed that to the property they basically admitted that these rooms were available (so in the end they were not fully booked!!!), but the only way to enter a room upon my morning arrival was to pay the night before. I refused to do that. When I arrived at the property the employee was very impolite and seemed to be very annoyed for not paying the night before. I had to wait for 6 hours to enter my room. During this time they did not offer me even a glass of water.

Window has no blinds, however a towel was placed to stop the light coming from outside... No Electricity in the washroom, however was fixed worth... No soap or bathroom slipper was there... Just okay... I don't recommend to stay there.

big problem of this place - cleanliness in the room :( it smells bad inside the room, dirty floor with stains on the carpet, there was rubbish in the closet in my room, and the most awful was BEETLES on the floor and inside bathroom on the walls… I’m really scary about this stuff. the roll of toilet paper was almost depleted, there was no spare one, but compared to the beetles, even that was not so frustrating

The staff tried to con us several time. it’s very far from the center. The rooms were very very small. the shower crumbled, we almost risk to cut ourselves and go to the hospital (and they wanted us to pay for that). ridiculous. I’ll never go back.

The staffs are behaving not like humanly. No friendly. The center of Belgrade is more difficult to be reached, especially in the night, from this location.

Green House Hostel is a great place to spend a couple of nights when in Belgrade. The location is great for visiting Zemun and New Belgrade, even on foot. During summer there are plenty of festivals going on in the park/space just behind the property, so it’s very likely that there will be something on when staying there. The room was clean and had all the essentials needed for the one night we stayed. Breakfast included in the price is a great deal too, especially when you get to enjoy it at the cute terrace floating on the river. It offered many tasty options of homemade dishes, including many vegetarian ones, which was very appreciated! The staff working there was very friendly and helpful when anything needed. It really felt like going home after our night out. It seems to be a family business and I guess that’s the reason why the vibe and the overall atmosphere feels so cozy and nice.

The staff can barely speak English, except for one guy who was not always there. They are also not extremely helpful and accommodating if you need anything…(besides that guy). Half of the indoor communal area was turned into their “office” which made me uncomfortable sitting there. Also, I discovered by chance that they had overcharged me because I paid by credit card (without letting me know that). They didn’t even apologise and I needed to argue with them to get that money back. Also, couples- be warned. The beds make a weird sound while moving and everyone can hear you.

The room was great, the shower was amazing. The location is a bit far from the centre but really nice- there are many restaurants and bars along the river, within a walking distance. The outdoor part of the hostel is pretty and it’s nice sitting there and relax.

Its a location of sheer - beauty, absolutely green , sound of river water ripples .... the location was all amazing now when it comes for the staff - Stefan, Ana and the uncle they were all more than welcome and helpful Hostel was very clean and the breakfast they served was really sumptuous .. I would highly recommend this property to everyone
