Rooms were a little crowded with furniture for us as we used the room only for sleeping, if you stayed in the room it would have been excellent

The cold weather outside

Very long hallways

Unfortunately, there are some night clubs near the hotel which can be sort of loud. They apparently only operate during the winter but can be problematic for some. It wasn't an issue for me but some of my guests could hear the base of the music well into the night.

The room was amazing! We got upgraded to one of the baroque-style rooms with antique-looking furniture and a view of the river. It was really amazing. It was like staying in a castle. The staff was really excellent and did everything they could to make our stay as good as possible. And the breakfast was amazing too. But the best part of this stay was just being inside the antique buildings of the fortress, essentially PART of the history of Novi Sad.

Nothing to dislike

It’s a charming hotel with period furniture in the lobbies and dining areas. Best of all it’s in the heart of Novi Sad fortress but it only takes 15 minutes to walk to the modern town across the river.

Everything was great! The hotel is beautiful, situated on the shore of Danube river, with restaurants nearby. The rooms are comfortable, with all the facilities needed. The breakfast had a wide variety of products and everything was very good. The reception staff were kind and helpful. We even got a superior room, even though we booked a standard one, with no extra charge! 😁

The rooms were quite small

Breakfast was excellent, I looked downward to it daily. The fried eggs, sausages, croissant and various other delicacies.

There are several problems which didn't affect my stay too much. 1. The smell from the sink in the shower. Please fix the airlock. The problem exist in many rooms. 2. The local restaurant was closed. However, the nearby restaurants were working. 3. Breakfasts were a little bit poorer than 4 years ago.

I stayed at this hotel third time. Everything is good as usual.

The internet was so slow as to be almost useless. I was unable to download a business document to my computer or upload my photos from my phone.

The location can't be beat, in the Petrovaradin fortress across the river from the town of Novi Sad. The rooms are very small and strangely laid out because of the historic nature of the building, but the staff upgraded us to a suite, which gave us a little more room and was very much appreciated. The breakfast and the breakfast room were lovely. There is a terrific restaurant next door, Karlo, associated with the hotel, with an awesome view and good food, perfect for a romantic dinner.
