How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Broken tips and glitter on floor carpet in the room. Black streaks of dirt in bathroom corners. We did not eat breakfast because plates had visible fingerprints and fat streaks after last meal.
Hotel close to the A1 motorway, very convenient to stay for the night brake. Professional staff in the reception.

The hotel has a strange internal structure. When we got to our room floor, we had to climb two more stairs to get to our room. There was no organization in the cleanliness of the hotel. Walking to our room, the doors of many other rooms were open with towels thrown outside the rooms.

Dirty, all hotel mess around, to much turkish gangsters, it will be bedbugs after then all hotel.. the staff does not care for such a beautiful hotel at all! Patron! change staff! bring staff from other countries if they don't understand!!!!

The bathroom wasnt cleaned properly, especialy the tolillet and the sheets were dirty, also the room was on the first level of the hotel and you have to get to it by two flights of stairs, without a ramp, so it was a bit problematic with the luggage

The hotel itself renovated but the room looked unfriendly. It was well cleaned but didn’t feel like it was clean. Don’t worth €75 for a night stay.
The location is great if you’re travelling by car. Free parking, lots of parking places. Polite stuff. Also pet friendly! Thank you. :)

- the pool and spa were closed, for repairs, but the overall feeling form other reviews is that they are rarely ever open which makes that facility a bit of a scam( i would have chosen a different hotel had i known it was closed ) - the kids play room , while nice and with a lot of nice options , was closed for guests (we were told to leave by the staff) because there was a wedding at the restaurant and they did not want the people from the wedding to use it
- easy to reach , right from the highway - far enough so the road nose was not a problem - good food at the restaurant

What we missed were some fresh fruit for breakfast and also fresh bread. Bread is unfrozen and crumbly

We were given a room interconnected to another one next to us by a wooden door. Waken at 1:00 am by noise from the other room - poor isolation and bad sleep.

No hot water in the shower in the morning. Problems with the lights in the room (wouldn’t turn off). Restaurant isn’t clean and toiletries at the restaurant are dirty. Breakfast (from the menu) is very poor.
The rooms are nice, clean, good beds and a nice shower (if you’ve hot water). Employees at the reception are very friendly.

I liked the food as well as the possibility of usig the pool and spa which I find very relaxing. The accomodation was perfectly tidy, everything in the hotel is new and adjusted to the highest standars. And the most importantly for me the internet connection is free and the signal is in the room was perfect.
