How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Honestly, we loved everything about it… would like to stay longer next time!
This huge apartment was fantastic. So incredibly clean, well stocked, great shower, laundry, huge living room, bedroom, and kitchen/ dining area. The elevator was so helpful and the location was very safe and convenient for ride share/ taxi pickups or walking. *shower was so luxurious! Hosts were so helpful and great communicators. Everything worked just as it should and when I needed help they were right there to help. Not overbearing at all but always available. AC and wifi and tv worked so well, fridge and freezer had lots of room. Honestly, I wouldn’t want to ever stay anywhere else in Belgrade. # traveled with my elderly mother, first time to Serbia, great shopping, eating, exploring, and fantastic hosts and home

Free toiletries would be an amazing bonus, everything else is perfect.

Beautifull spacious apartment located very central in Belgrad. Very vell renovated clean and equiped with everything you will need for a stay in Belgrade Suitable for families. 3 minutes walk to the central square and main pedestrian street. Recommend.

Old elevator is a little bit scary :)
In short, this apartment will cover all you need. It's location is just perfect, close to many places you will visit. It has two air conditioner (you are going to need them, if you visit in summer) and two TV units. Bathroom has also a bidet, which is a plus. Owner is Biljana, who is a lovely, helpful lady. If you rent this appartment, you won't regret it.

First of all, Biljana is a great host who helped me a lot after my arrival to Belgrade. Thanks a lot Biljana! You're the best. Second of all, the flat is just amazing! Perfect location, very comfortable, everything needed is here. Very close to all places in city center. I never needed more than 15 minutes to get to any place in the center. All in all, highly recommended. I'll even miss this flat:(

Elevator is from year 1954 but fast you get use to it...
The host was waiting us for almost an hour because of the heavy traffic in Belgrade but she did not say a bad word to us it was the opposite, she was very happy that we made it and gave us a warm hospitality and detailed information on the micro location and city itself. The apartment is out of this world, start from the location to furniture...

Brand new, centrally located apartment. Everything was spotlessly clean and you have everything you need in apartment. Apartment is very comfortable and hosts are very kind and helpful. We will be back :) And we recommend the apartment to everybody for short and long stay.

The apartment is amazing vry spacious, 2 couples can easily have a very comfortable stay. at the best location with all bus routes at walking distance, it has all the facilities if your looking for a longer stay , even considering food and restaurants there is a lane full of restaurants and cafes just below also there is a supermarket just 1 min walk from the building. I was with my 4 Yr son v had a lovely stay and our hostes was the best very helpful and cooperate, as v travelled during covid and PCR formalities she helped at every step its highly appreciated Bibi ❤. Over all it was the best experience for me as I stayed in other apartments as well but this was the best for me soo far . Hope to revisit with more family and frnds .
