How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

There is nothing that I don’t like.
I liked a lot that is renovated and the facilities are new. I liked that the staff are really polite and friendly. The location is great!

The perfect stay to discover Belgrade. Excellent location: all the main attractions are within walking distance. There is also a grocery store at the bottom of the house, which makes your stay very comfortable. Senka is a helpful host who will answer all your questions. The parking space – which we didn't use this time – is also priceless if you arrive by car. Definitely recommended!:)

Perhaps a coffee machine would fit in perfectly.
Everything was great! The cleanliness is at a level, the bed is super big and comfortable. It has everything you would need for a stay in the city. The location is also very convenient in the city center with everything easily accessible. The place is quiet, which will allow you to start after long walks in Belgrade. The host was very responsive and the fact that you have free parking in a central location makes everything easier. Overall, I recommend with both hands! Hvala!!

Nice clean apartment, has everything you need for a good stay,super hosts, we needed a late check-out and we were allowed to do it without any problems, we also left our suitcases until the evening considering that other guests came after us.I recommend this apartment.

The host, Dragana, was very kind. She informed us with everything we needed to know about the house. The location is 10 min walk from the main central & shopping street, Knez Mihailova, and 3 min walk from Hotel Moskova (they have a restaurant open for tourists with live piano). The apartment was clean and suitable for me and my husband. Very quite place. Bathroom and kitchen well equiped, a coffee machine maybe would be good. The bad was very very comfortable. The apartment has also a parking place underground in the garage, which was safe. Around the corner there are shops, cafes and bakeries. We'll sure book this place again when we'll visit Serbia in the summer time.

It was very clean, new and bed&matresses confortable. But the weather is too hot these days so the room eas hot but there was an air-condition. And the area seem safely; and close to everywhere. And the garage is under the apartment so it was safe for your car if you don’t want to park on the street. The landlord was so kind and helpful…

Very comfortable and clean apartment for single traveler or couples in the very heart of Belgrade center. Close to the bus station and close to main sights. All possible services within few meters/minutes walk. The balcony is facing an inner yard with no view, but it also means, that the apartment is peaceful and quiet, which is a huge plus in Belgrade.

Everything is good.
Nice apartment, very comfortable, fully equipped. Excellent location in Belgrade centre, between Old Town and Belgrade Waterfront. You can visit most of the Belgrade landmarks by just walking. There is a private parking garage. Very kind host, excellent communication, check in and check out were super easy.
