How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

We had a very pleasant staying on the way back home, the place was very clean and nice. We had a walk down the old city center and spent a very pleasant afternoon in Valjevo.

What is an important miss is the lack of air conditioner. Although we slept well with the window opened, and it was a very pleasant temperature, it is well needed during the day and if somebody needs to close the window during the night. There is no terase, which might be of importance to some travellers. There was no shower handler on the bath tube wall - strong recommendation to install it. The apartment looks towards the street, so some noise during the night should be expected.
The first impression was how clean and maintained the room is. Although a bit small, there is everything, including coffee maker. The bed is extremely comfortable, and two night tables are quite spatious to use it as a laptop table. Plugs are available at both sides of the bed. One armchair for relaxing and working if needed. The bathroom is excellent, with a big bath tube, spatious. Excelent led light in the apartment, which is also well lit during the day. Maybe the strongest impression is the excellent sound isolation. Guests next door were quite loud, but we didn't hear anything. Good wall isolation also, we could sleep with open window only, although temperatures were high.

Very clean and tidy apartment in a new building in the city centre, in proximity of shops and restaurants. A big and comfortable bathroom with full-size washmahine with drying option.

The apartment is spacious, nicely decorated, comfortable, warm, fully equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Great location, very close to the centre. Parking included. Nearby good restaurant. Easy and simple check-in/check-out.

Room size.In description Delux double room 30m2 with fridge, but in real life 12m2 without fridge, not enough space for personal stuff, little table with cattler on it.No caffe cups no tee spoon. On check out no employees to realize card payment.

The room needs some more space for luggage and some cabinets for the wardrobe with hangers. Also, for two people you need a couple of towel hangers. You should repair the power outlet in the toilet.
The owner is very nice and responsive. The room is very clean and well located. Also, you have a good safe parking place.

The apartment that we stayed was very small. It is said 30m²,but actually is less ( 20m²), so it is small room. It is claustrophobic and windows are on parking.
It is clean and new,near centar. It has private parking.

1) if you look for using the kitchen check out at your arrival that you find pots and pans; we found nothing except dishes, glasses and silverware, so it was not possible to cook 2) we had a little problem with our reservation, I reserved one kind of apartment, then in the mail I received confirmation for a different one, but as I received a confirmation I didn't look if it was for the one I choose ; so when I arrived, the first apartment they showed me was not the one that I have reserved. The owner had a reservation for a smaller one, but he found immediately a solution, no problem; but I had to pay a little more. Maybe it was an error of the reservation system; anyway I suggest that when you receive the confirmation from booking, that you check with attention what apartment is reallt reserved.
The apartment is ok, absolutely conformed to what I expected.
