How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

I would have appreciated a thorough cleaning of the bathroom, in particular.
Staying at Teanna Lux apartment was a great experience at a perfect location. The apartment is very comfortable, the secret garden is a great option for sunny days and the breakfast at the nearby restaurant was excellent!

The only downside was the internet connection, which wasn't very reliable.
Absolutely stunning location and a delightful breakfast experience. Our stay was truly enjoyable, with a well-equipped room. We especially loved our cozy little garden. The breakfast offered was exceptional, and the hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating.

It's very very tiny especially for the price
Location is great. Everything you need is just a few steps away. Close to the fortress and other major attractions. Cute flat and very clean

Parking can be difficult.
Great central location, close to restaurants and bars, in front of a big green park with a playground, a vibrant area steeped in history.

The with doesn’t work on the terrace - but that’s being way too picky to be honest, as it wasn’t overly bothersome
The breakfast at Plato was incredible, and the apartment itself was so lovely and well catered, will definitely be staying again!

We visited the place in March and the problem is that you can't regulate the temperature as there is central heat!So when the windows were closed the temperature was too high in the room (26 degrees).You have to stay with windows open so as to regulate the temperature even in the night.
Perfect location, very clean spacious room, comfort bed!

The heating was somehow in and we didn't find a way to stop it. It was not so important considering that we could keep the window open. The studio was great, however it has a patio which is in the courtyard surrounded by buildings which then makes it a bit dark throughout the sunny day as well.
The location of the apartment could not be better. The price for such a stay was really good. There was a breakfast included in the price as well which was in one of the places nearby, and was excellent.

We can not say we did not “like” but; the studio is quite smaller compared to the photos. It can be noisy at night due to neighbours on the terrace and balcony. And the host, despite helpful, was not very kimd in reply to our messages. When we asked only a couple of things, the replies were bordering rude.

the AC was not cooling very well , but the weather help me and the coffee machine was not clean i try to clean it but it seems to need a replacement,other that everything was great

The location was top, right in the center but it’s not noisy or loud around. Everything was super clean, nice guy Dragan who showed us the place and was waiting next to the door once we arrived.

They only accept cash payments (dinars or euros).
The apartment boasts an excellent location for city exploration, with convenient access to key attractions. Location is in a very quiet and central area, next to the Studentski Park. The apartment was spacious, clean and equipped with all the necessary amentines. The hosts are very helpful in everything. Breakfast is served in a restaurant 100m from the building

The location for breakfast is very beautiful, but the only bas thing is that they serve breakfast from 9:00am. If you travel for work, probably you would like to have breakfast earlier. I didn't have a chance to use the coupon.
The location of the property was perfect, in the city center. Everything was nearby, shopping center, park etc. Event the building was old, the apartment is modern and cozy.

Host was waiting for us when we arrived to the location from the airport. They were warm and welcoming. All explanations were very useful. We needed an iron and they got us a new one within an hour or so which was excellent! The balcony was so cozy n pvt. Everything was walking distance the tie up restaurant for the breakfast is beautiful and serve quite a big qty of food.

A few nice decorative pieces, like lanterns, a big bowl at the table and a blanket would be a perfect addition, making it look like home.
This apartment has a warm modern interior with a nice little backyard. You can enjoy every part of the city center in walking distance. There are all kind of shops and nice restaurants.

Staff is awesome: we had a super late check-in, hours after the official time and no problem. Every question answered promptly and also got a free late checkout! Right at the city center.
