How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

In our original room one of beds was broken and there were some troubles with bathroom equipment. However, owner suggested us to move to another room there everything was perfect.
Very nice and friendly owner, good location close to the resort area near the lake, good breakfast. We were on our way to Ђердап and this hotel was the only one that offers family rooms. (Yes, we wanted to stay in a hotel and not rent a house/apartment).

too expensive for what it offers. the bed linen and towels would need to be renewed. Too much noise from the surroundings: there is a lot of construction, then from the nearby sports field. It's good to do sports, but at 11-12 pm is too much.- but these does not belong to the hotel.

Floor had some sand and it was not so clean, but bathroom and bed was great. Bathroom doesn't have soup, maybe because it is new, but still. Also I saw that coffee is included in breakfast, but still I had to pay.
Breakfast is ok, and room was very nice with balcony. Apartments are new and clean, bed is big and comfy. Location is for me very good, it is 400m from walking zone and it is very quiet. Swimming pool didn't work at that time, but it is vey nice. I will recommend stay and restaurant.

No International TV channels. Shower too small.
Location, excellent food.The Staff is welcoming, polite and very helpful. The hotel has a very nice veranda in a beautiful garden.

They should improve their wifi connection. As a tourist this is a very important facility. In the restaurant the connection was good but in the room the wifi network did not have an internet connection.
I liked the hospitality and friendliness of the staff.

We had a very nice stay as a family of four. The service was good and very welcoming. The breakfast was very rich with good omelette, nice childrens dishes and lovely cold cut for the bread.

You have to pay for coffee,even if it is brekfast included in the room price. It was cold in the bathroom,no heating system available there (in the room we had an AC running all night on 26 degrees). The electric system was tricky (on/off), the drain system from the shower was not working,so all over the floor we had water in the morning. TV had no cable available. Very noisy neighborhood area because of all the constructions,but we were there out of the season,so I guess they were still doing upgrades.
The food is excellent, the serving ok, complimentary free drinks.

-Staff is really really helpful and friendly. From owner and his family to the waiter - everybody are here to help and make you feel welcome and comfortable. -Everything is super clean, rooms are new -Balkon is big -Dogs are really welcome:)

Bad weather, but we can't blame it :)
We are staying in this villa for the second time and everything was absolutely without any objections as last time. Also all praise for the fish specialties in the restaurant, I would recommend everyone to try.

I highly recommend this amazing property. It has the perfect location, Very cozy and clean, the food is delicious and always warm and served with huge smile and professionalism, the staff is exceptional they are very friendly and welcoming. Sometimes they play a nice music in the lobby, silver lake and all the facilities you need is around. Over all I had a wonderful time and i will definitely come back. Greetings Taktak
