How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

I would prefer to have Bufet breakfast but this is only a personal opinion. Also a ramp at the entrance would be good.

Hotel Ženeva Lux was one of the best hotels I stayed in Serbia. Excellent. Great room equipment, very good designed. Breakfast was served by the menu what I have never seen yet. That was delicious. I was enjoyed so much.

Beautiful rooms, nice staff-overall great experience. The hotel is in a quiet location which is not far from the center (15-20 mins walk) which allows you to rest well.

Problem with ventilation. Always cigarettes smell in room from ventilation. There were no bathrobe, no slippers.. Breakfast in restaurant full of cigarettes smoke.

Elegant lady in reception was very friendly and helpful. She even help us to find Green Market Aerodrom. Hotel is olmost new, well kept and very, very clean. Our room was very big and nice with comfy beds and balcony. Try omlet for breakfast. The best during our 5-week travel across six Balkans countries. Parking with protective roof on the spot.

The wedding music that kept on all Friday. Probably, thats a case in weekends.
A luxury place with all the facilities in the room. Parking Spaces are a lot and available. Good staff as well. Good restaurant with OK food and good prices. A very good choice for a business trip..

We stayed on a Saturday evening and there was a wedding downstairs (there was some noise, but nothing too extreme).
The hotel has a great design and the rooms are comfortable, with all of the needed facilities included. The parking is very generous and so is the breakfast (big quantity of food included in every option in the menu).

Checked in late, dirty and with a bicycle. I was warmly welcomed and treated like any other guest. Had to leave early, so missed the breakfast. Surprised by the value for money, brilliant hotel.

The staff doesn't speak english at all, except for one waiter. By the way they try to help you in every way. This time i found bedsheets dirty, and cigarettes holes on the couch in my room. That's why i can't give a full 10, even if I would so. It was a very good time, I hope it will be the best next time.
Best hotel in Kragujevac. It's the second time there and it's perfect if you have to go to university, 3 minutes away walking. I had the biggest room I ever seen (1st floor). There was living room with couch and comfy chairs, flat tv screen and mini bar. The toilet was tiny but it was because there was a big Jacuzzi. The room was huge, the closet was big and there were a lot od towels. In the bedroom there was another flat tv screen, a desk and a little shoe place. Me and my colleague had the room close to amother so we had even the balcony almost for us. The iron service for clothes is wonderful and at breakfast they give you big portion of what you order. There is one waiter who speaks english almost perfectly, I'm sorry I don't remember his name. The hotel is less than 5 minutes away from downtown and taxi come in just couple of minutes (and they're very cheap). I'll be in Kragujevac again and I will absolutely be at Zeneva Lux again

The balcony wasn't fully functional given some construction works - renovating, I suppose. There was no noise during our stay, so that was OK.
The room was modern, nicely designed, clean, large and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. The staff was very helpful. The hotel is closer when coming from the direction of Belgrade. The hotel has a big parking area. We then took a taxi and within 5 minutes we were in the city centre.
