How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The fact that the price didn't automatically include breakfast, and I was not informed of this until I attempted to have breakfast.
I am disabled. They provided me with a room that is wheelchair friendly.

Too hot in the rooms (+23 - +25 C), wasn’t able to change No electric kettle in the room and it’s not clear if the one near reception area is for free or not

Ideal location, which meant not having to leave the airport. Super helpful staff, clean functional rooms which were comfortable. Warm showers and a good breakfast. Able to leave luggage securely whilst popping in to Moscow on the train. Would definitely use again.

The Buffet... It wasnt a buffet. In my opinion , Its not worth paying the money for breakfast. There was a counter designed for a breakfast buffet we think, but it wasnt in use. you have to go to the staff bar and ask. All you get it is one thing off the menu. toast, and a small plate of whatever you are given. No choice! not really on , considering we paid £100 per night Inc Breakfast.
The ease and location of the hotel was by far the easiest. The lift goes straight to the Aeroexpress into Moscow too. The hotel reflected a Citizen M vibe. Modern eye catching furniture as well as modern hotel room all connected up through the TV.

Excellent facilities. Comfortable bed. Large windows with views of the runway. Possibility of staying by the hour or by the night (good value for money). Very fast check-in and just drop the room card for check-out. Toilet bidet sprayer available. Restaurant/bar available on premises. What we liked most was the location. Right at the airport without the need to go out during the cold. (Just arrive to the airport. Go to exit 4, take the elevator/escalators down and use the underground tunnel connection to Aeroexpress/Maxima Hotel. You will walk for a minute/less than 100 meters and then reach the hotel. It will be on the 1st floor (use the elevator). Will definitely stay again !

We were there for a short stay only with no breakfast. The room however was comfortable, very clean and quiet. Overall, a very satisfactory stay.

NO PROPER AC! The temperature in the room was +25•C and no way I could put it down + the air felt stuffy despite some noise the ventilation was making. It is not possible to open the window. It overtook all the positives listed above as the sleep was not good as a result. It might be ok for those who is used to sleeping in similar temperatures but for us the norm is +17+18•C and with a constant supply of fresh oxygenated air. If air supply issue is fixed, this place will be wonderful and I’ll be happy to use it again.
Great big and very comfortable bed, everything is clean, all necessities are there (shampoo etc), very helpful and friendly staff, food is available and not bad, small play area for kids, convenient airport location, hourly rates available.

Menu of restaurant can be little variety.

No tea and coffee in the room.
Good location for the airport and express train from Moscow. Good idea renting rooms by the hour as some people may need a short stop over. Hotel is quite new and very clean. Hotel also displays flight details on TV screens.

I had a long layover in Moscow from my international to domestic flight. The location is fantastic, walking distance from the airport yet not within the airport. It has a proper size room unlike other airport hotels
