Situated in the center of the city close to everything. They have a nice garden and a restaurant on site where they will cook you a nicely tasting and nicely priced food, need not to look any further for better setting. Of course you get what you paid for, so do not expect luxury.

I found the bed and pillow too hard but this is a personal issue. I missed in the bathroom a place to leave personnel things.

The location was great. Only 10 min walk to the central Bus Station. Also to the lake it took not more. The accomodation was nice and it Has a nice garden! Taking breakfast and diner outside! I stayed for 2 nights and had breakfast and one diner. Both was good. The personnel is very nice and the owner helps in any way. Just ask he will provide you with all helpful information. The bed had a net for mosquitosmosquitos and warm shower!

The information about activities around can be improved (very good information about trails around the city, help in arranging transportation to Kigaly, but disaponting information about the Congo nile trail)

The rooms and furniture are a bit old and I struggled to get hot water despite the instructions but it's a great rate so you can't really complain! Overall good value for money.

Good location close to the lake. Friendly staff and the best breakfast I had in Rwanda. Has parking and a nice outdoor area to chill out in. Beds are comfy and rooms are quiet at night.

A very affordable and neat place to stay while in Gisenyi. The host and his staff are very welcoming, flexible and open to feedback. We liked the compound's large garden where one can sit outside, enjoy the sun and have drinks. The breakfast is great. Colibri is located in an easy to find, well lit (at night) and safe area of Gisenyi, and is a few minutes walk from the shores of beautiful Kivu lake and some shops/restaurants.

Had a small problem with water due to water company, so no fault from the owner who provided me with water from the tank.

The guesthouse is located a 10-minute walk from the bus station, on a side street with minimal traffic. The owners are extremely kind and create a unique, laid-back atmosphere. The breakfasts are delicious and more than sufficient.

There was no fan in my room but that didn't bother me as the weather was good.

The owners made you feel at home. Nice quiet location. Breakfast was excellent. Exceeded my expectations. Would highly recommend for holidayers on a low budget.

The Guesthouse isn't well known in the area, so arranging transportation is a little difficult. They should definitely try working on that. Other than that, there's not much to say

Food was very delicious and plentiful but it seemed to be limited options, and transmited verbally. I would suggest having a written menu with prices.

Beautiful and peaceful garden where you can have your meals. Friendly staff making sure you feel at home. Really nice food for very reasonable prices, amazing breakfast!! Good location in a quiet residential street, about 10 mins to bus station if you are traveling with local transport. Huge bed, very clean room.
