How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

No one picked phone @ Room Service had to call reception but they got the request done.
The Location was very Nice walkable 3-4 min distance from Haram, Staff was very friendly welcomed us with Flower / roses, Room were clean, Breakfast was good. Pharmacy shop in same building. Near Masjid Al-Ghamama and Masjid Abu Bakr

location was close to haram, about 300m, some rooms have the haram view. rooms were kept clean, water refills outside every lift. there was coffee, water and infused water at the lobby availale at all times. breakfast was fantastic!

Maybe just the lack of places to get food around the hotel. Everything else is great!
Alhamdulillah, first time staying on this side of Haram and i had a really pleasant stay. It is a 5-7mins walk to the masjid, can see the maqam upon entering first gate nearest to hotel. Was warmly welcomed by lovely Zainab, even got a rose upon arrival. All staff were warm, friendly and efficient. Room amenities were complete- had everything I need. Another lady staff (sorry I don't know how to spell your name starts with R) helped me with booking a transport to the airport, she took the trouble to check different apps to get the best price for me. Thank you so much. Will definitely recommend this hotel.

The toilets- the shower area didn’t have a separator and the entire bathroom gets flooded with water on ahowering

The bench was located between the toilet door and the bed does leave much space to walk ..so I hit my toes too many times against the bed leg or the bench I think that bench needs to be relocated to somewhere in the room instead of putting it close to.the bed Also, the smell inside the bathroom was bit disturbing
The hotel is very clean and well equipped and the staff were very friendly and welcoming The hotel is well located..just 5 minutes walk to al masjid nabawi..close to the shops and restaurants.. Breakfast was really nice and have a lot of choices Rooms were comfy and very clean

Room wasn't cleaned as often as I would have liked, staff did not always seem like they wanted to clean it which was disappointing. We stayed for a week so would have needed cleaning often but staff was not always around for this.
Absolutely loved everything, staff, location, food and how welcome we felt at the hotel. There was a time when the heat got to my husband and as he entered the hotel a staff member took him aside and gave him a beverage to cool him down. Genuinely feel like they go above and beyond for your care!

I won't say that I didn't like it, but they should include some more items in their breakfast.
Checkin was very quick and they offered us free parking as well, which is just awesome in Madina. It is very close to Haram. My kids enjoyed the spacious room and requested to book the same place for the next visit.

The room had an ensuite from which a bad smell was coming out of the drain. We had to keep the bathroom door closed to stop the bad smell. The hotel did not have in-room food service
