I had a medical emergency I needed someone to call the ambulance. I asked the receptionist in the morning to help me, I waited 2h but no one called me back. I called an uber, I couldn’t walk I was in terrible pain and conditions due to kidneys issue. Medical emergency should have been taken seriously.

During my stay at Awfad Hotel, I found the location to be perfect as it is situated in the central part of the city. The room provided was comfortable and well-maintained, ensuring a pleasant stay. Additionally, the breakfast served at the hotel was delicious and of good quality, adding to the overall positive experience.

The walls are not soundproof. You can hear the conversation of people staying in the next room very clearly. Had an issue with the noise level next door. the tv was on full on the day we checked untl 12 noon the next day. I complained to reception and was offered to move to another room, which was inconvenient to us. I would have preferred if management had taken action by asking the gentlemen next door to lower the volume of the tv in the early hours when I called reception to notify them of the issue. The other issue I had was that the pillow on my bed smelled of sweat. The pillow covers were clean, but the pillow itself reeked of body sweat. I called housekeeping to replace it, which they did, but the replacement pillow also smelled bad. I had to sleep without one for the entire stay. Management should really get someone to replace or clean the actual pillows properly. Replacing the covers doesn't make it clean. Finally, if you need to order a taxi, I would advise you to download the Uber app as the hotel reception does not provide a taxi call service. There are taxi apps that are cheaper than Uber.. Jenny and Creem app. If you decide to stop a green taxi on the road, make sure you ask them to start the meter before you get in as it can end up being more expensive. Just keep in mind that rush hour in Riyadh starts around 4 pm, and traffic can get bad..

All the staff were welcoming and very helpful, especially Sultana and Reema, and the on duty manager on reception. Location was a great, short distance by taxi to most malls and restaurants/cafes. There is also free WiFi, gym, and pool on the roof top, which I didn't use. Breakfast was great, plenty of variety - arabic, continental, and American. On the day we checked out, they opened a cafe on the ground floor. Nice area to chill. Overall, it was a great stay except for a few things, but I would definitely stay there again if I ever went back to Riyadh.

Pictures generally show what the rooms look like, but the rooms are actually somewhat old, worn down and not fully maintained. You can see it in the details. We also had only a small window, which seems to be the case for most all of the rooms (when looking from the outside of the building), so little natural light. There was also lots of confusion with our stay. Although I booked for me and my wife, they only marked 1 person down for breakfast. We also had 3 different people contact us (at the door, on the phone) in the morning to ask if we were checking out and, if so, how many people were checking out....very strange since our booking was only until that day and why would only one of us check out and not the other.

Bed was comfortable. AC worked well. Underground parking was plenty and easily accessible. Breakfast was extensive and really good. Location was good for the centre of the city.

The receptionist at the front desk, Mrs. Sultana is the best. she received the guest with a smile and she was helpful and supportive. The location is very good and value for money.

However, I believe improvements can be made in a couple of areas. Firstly, the Wi-Fi connection in my room was not as reliable as expected, which can be frustrating for business travellers. Ensuring a stable and fast internet connection is crucial in today's world. Secondly, while the overall cleanliness of the hotel was good, I did notice some minor maintenance issues in the corridors and common areas. These included scuffed walls and worn-out carpeting, which could be addressed to maintain the hotel's impeccable appearance.

In general, my experience at your hotel was quite positive. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the staff at the front desk were courteous and welcoming. I appreciated their professionalism and willingness to assist with any inquiries or requests. My room at the hotel was good, decorated, and well-appointed. The comfortable bed provided a restful night's sleep, and the amenities in the bathroom were good. The hotel's dining options were also good. I enjoyed dining at one of the on-site restaurants, and the food was both delicious. The restaurant staff demonstrated exceptional service and knowledge of the menu.

The room decor was very "clinical" and funiture fittings were of poor quality and a little tired. Laundry servicies were expensive and the window was too small/narrow to provide sufficient natural light and could not be opened for fresh air.

Centra location and room was clean, bright and quiet. Very good breakfast and pleasant restaurant. Well maintained gym and all standard business hotel amenities.
