How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

the buffet diner is a bit too pricy, although food is very good. one of the lift from carpark to entrance was out of order.
breakfast is very good. very nice swimming, available for men, women and kids outdoors. Very nice seaview from 7th floor, ideal for seabird watching, with view on the mangroves on the north. lot of place to park the car.

The communication with the hotel is a different experience. You can't reach the hotel through land-line, only through mobile. I sent a message through booking to inform the hotel about my late check in, unfortunately no response till I call the hotel several times. I tired to call the hotel after 23.00 to give them different check in time but surprisingly the mobile and land line was closed!. When I arrived to the hotel and I ask them why all numbers are closed the receptionist told me that he is working alone at night shift and can't answer phone calls. As for the room I found the furniture at balcony is super dirty as well as some parts of room carpet. The soundproof at my room is totally poor and you can hear kids at the next room. The pillows are uncomfortable at all. The most annoying issue in my room was the AC you can't go below 18c and the room always hot. All in all, I was shocked by the experience at this hotel. I wish all the best.

The checkin took over a hour and there was only one restaurant available.

We booked a non sea-view room. We were on second floor, far right wing of the hotel. The view was not nice, as it is just over a large flat roof, even if we could see the sea in the back.
The room is clean and comfortable, spacious enough. It's easy to park, lot of space. The breakfast is nice, with good choice and variety of good food.

Not the first time in Grand Millenium but this time the bathroom floor was not as clean as expected and a little bit smelly. However the room in general is fine. Walking all along the hotel main corridor to reach the place to buy a snack and go back to the pool is not practical. Hopefully something temporary otherwise not comfortable.
Nice place, excellent location. Great pool for kids and adults. Attentive staff. The buffet was excellent too as well as the restaurant staff.

Despite the fact that hotel was almost empty, hotel staff put us in one of the farthest rooms in the wing. Also we are not sure what happened but carpets smelled terribly in the hall way. Additionally, valet parking guys could not find my car for 15 min even though it was parked right in front of the entrance.
Hotel management was amazing, breakfast was good. In general all the amenities (4 pools, gym, spa, courts) were at the par. We tried both breakfast and dinner buffet options - were good. Tried outdoor pool - was super warm. Tried paddle - the guys in the gym/sport staff were amazing and friendly especially Osama.
