Firstly upon doing the booking I made a request for an early check in and an upgrade if possible. To my surprise 24 hours before travel I got a call from the hotel from a lady called Ashwaad. She re confirmed my booking and asked me to ask for her after I arrived. Upon arrival I asked for her and I was directed to her desk. She quickly checked me in and also accepted my room upgrade from city view to haram view. During my stay the house keeping staff on our floor was super amazing. He was always giving the best of room cleaning services and all with a wonderful smile. Upon checking out he even came to greet us and to wish us well for our return journey

My Taxi could not reach the reach drop off point of hotel

Location was very good but Uber or Careem taxis could not reach the hotel drop off point. The given address does not help. Management to change the address to their drop off point

Went on UMRAH DIY and stayed in Makkah Hotel. Please dont even think for a second where to stay in Makkah. Choose this hotel! The best in makkah! Every worry you could think off, you need not worry when you stay at this hotel. Stroller friendly, wheelchair friendly, everything friendly!

This hotel is super convenient. Especially when you travelled with 5 young boys (2 of them using stroller) and elderly with wheelchair; every move was so easy! Dont think twice, stay here you can! This was our second stay and we are coming back here in December 2024! Check-in experience? super quick! We got our room cards a few minutes after arriving at the hotel! Lovely welcome from Ms Razan & Mr Shiam! Made our Umrah experience flawless! Kept our luggage and performed umrah after resting for a bit. Go to Mataf/ Haram? Super near! Literally a stone throw away! 1-2 minutes and you are already at gate 79! Hotel building? Everything you need to do is inside the building! Restaurants, cafe, everything! Hotel food? Awesome food spread during Iftar and Suhoor! The restaurant manager Mr Hamed was very accommodating to our request! Made us feel very very special! Room? Super spacious! So! If you are looking for convenience, easy accessibility, value for money! Wait no more! Stay at Makkah Hotel!

-Not much variety for breakfast. Not always a chef by the egg station. -Requested for housekeeping to clean the room in the evening and the room wasn't cleaned for at least 2 hours. Wasn't able to eat supper in the room as they came to clean thereafter. -Lots of noise from kids playing in the passage just outside our room door after 10pm- had to call reception multiple times and the issue was sorted out within the hour and half or so. Policy should be made that no kids allowed to play in passage, especially if it's longer than an hour!

-Excellent location, easy access to literally everything. -Amazing room with the best quality in everything. -Excellent cleaning and room service most of the time. -Friendly and helpful staff.

The bathrooms were not very clean. The towels were all damp. The rooms were dated and Dark. The tv didn’t work. The mattress was good. The pillows were not. Only one Member at the check in spoke English. They were all polite but the guy didn’t get any instructions and eventually I got tired of explaining. I wanted adjacent rooms to stay with my elderly parents in case they needed anything and I was on the other side of the floor! There were plenty of rooms free which were together. At checkout the guy was helpful and spoke good English.

Location, location, location. Breakfast was first class. It made up for the rooms.

The rooms are very old, the bathroom seemed very outdated also. For the price charged should be much better.

The location is the best part about the hotel, the food for iftar was very good and diverse.

Well nothing about the hotel but just that the wonderful Bin Dawood super market has closed its doors in the hotel building. That had been such a convenience and long term memory for many of us from around the world.

You can't ever go wrong with this beautiful property. So closely situated to Haram. Nice and clean environment- wonderful buffets. Spacious rooms. Decent house keeping. You name it! I am eternally in love and awe of this hotel.
