The transportation is not quite convenient for travellers without a car rental.

Great location in Ashar valley! It is part of the banyan tree resort, and you can access all the pool, gym and other free facilities. I think it is the biggest resort of all the banyan tree hotels.

Breakfast buffet is less than what I expected. No Tv neither in the room nor at the hotel cafe and lounge.

The location, hospitality, Yoga classes and the swimming and spa.

    Everything was perfect 👌

We love the place and the staff It was more than an amazing trip, and I'm really happy I chose Ashar Tent Resort, everything was perfect, I appreciate it and say a big thank you to all the reception team, they were so lovely and hospitable to us, and everything we asked, they sent on time, I would like to share the name of all of them but unfortunately I don't have it but I would like to say thank you and many best regards to everyone. 🤗 The food was delicious and wonderful, there were many options for breakfast and dinner, especially my job is a chef and it is not easy to accept any food, I was really afraid of the food but in the first dinner I had, I got a high level of satisfaction😋 (Thank you chef Gede thanks to all the chefs at the resort) The restaurant team was very wonderful with us and the service was the best.🫰 I thank Mr. George(the restaurant manager) and Mohamed, who provided us with excellent service, and the rest of the team, their smile and professionalism at work exceeded our expectations.❤️🫶 The room was very beautiful and had all the supplies and cleanliness was excellent. Big Thankfull to the housekeeping team for this wonderful care and arrangement.❤️❤️ We would have liked to stay longer, we were very happy to know everyone of you and stay with you, and we were sad when we left. We will be back soon and will recommend this wonderful place to all friends🫶 Thank you guys for your full interest in us (see you soon) 🙏🫰

Loved everything about it! My only regret was not staying longer. The staff was exceptionally helpful and attentive. The facilities were gorgeous. The view stole the show though. It was so quiet there and peaceful. I could have looked at the mountains all day. We hope to go back!

Shower drain needs to be at the bottom of the floor slope rather than the highest point of the floor slope so that water can drain properly into the shower drain. A minor issue did not detract from our amazing holidays with 6 Star service in such stunning site.

Breakfast was amazing, Saffron was delicious, Bicycle was great fun, Spa was one of the best. Staff were outstanding. Stunning resort design blended within Ashar Valley's desert setting and natural rock formations beauty. We were completely amazed by its stylish design surrounded by the natural beauty and couldn't get enough of it.

The breakfast. First of all they could use a bigger hall. More importantly some foods are not at the level we expected. This is a hotel run by Accor, a French company, and yet the croissants and the pastries are bad and the cheese selection is very limited. Then there is the coffee at the rock pool. 115 riyals for two cups of coffee (50 each +15% VAT) is excessive.

The location is wonderful. The layout of the tents gives a lot of privacy.

The only negative issue was the abundant of flies inside the tent, we battled every day trying to kill most of them.

    The mountains surrounding the tents.

Nothing. It was seamless perfection, from check-in to check-out. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

I have had the privilege of staying in 5-star hotels across the world, and this was, by far, the best hotel I have ever stayed in! The accommodation itself was nothing short of breath-taking. We were upgraded from the Ashar Tented camp to a Banyon Tree Villa, and our suite was a sanctuary of elegance and comfort, with incredible panoramic views. But what truly set this hotel apart was its remarkable staff. From the front desk, who allowed us to check in early, and seemed to anticipate our every need, to every driver, housekeeper and waiter we met, their dedication to excellence was unparalleled. Every interaction is filled with warmth and professionalism. The breakfast was one of the best meals I've had! We loved absolutely everything about our stay!

There are only two minor points for improvement I noticed: ° better follow up on replacing used mugs and bathroom amenities. ° our sliding window couldn't be locked, we informed someone at the front desk but during our stay, it had not been fixed. ° as in many places, it was not easy to switch of all the lights.

The location of the resort is of unseen beauty and serenity, absolutely mind blowing. The entire team is very friendly and helpfull, especially George and his team are top level, they understood 100% what hospitality stands for. Al'Ula is a true gem on this planet and Banyan Tree has build a resort with a lot of respect both for its stunning environment as for its guests. I hope to be back soon!

There was a poor choice of food/dining experiences. What was available was quite ordinary and very overpriced. When you are confined to a resort that is isolated - there should be more options for food/dining and you shouldn’t HAVE TO pay fine dining prices just to “fill your belly”.

The beautiful tented chalet and the quiet, spectacular, natural surroundings.

The location is In beautiful surroundings and the perfect place to explore the surrounding attractions. Unwinding is easy as it is peaceful and quiet and you can relax on the veranda during the day or gaze at the stars at night. The resort is now part of Banyan Tree with check in at the south reception though the tent villas are separate from the main Banyan Tree villas (on the south side). The facilities were great and the staff absolutely amazing - helpful and friendly. Actually I was upgraded to one of the main Banyan Tree villas so I can't comment on the Asher Tent villas as I only saw them from the outside. But the overall surroundings were stunning, set deep in the desert away from the town and just 5 mins drive from the mirrored Maraya concert hall.
