Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomI just couldn’t sleep as the fire alarm was flashing a bright blue light on top of my head. It was the first I experienced anything like that - maybe because of the fire alarm location. also the service wasn’t as expected. I ordered a simple continental breakfast to my room as I was in a rush but it arrived almost an hour late. I also asked for a phone charger which I was told was on its way but it was not delivered. I previously stayed at the hotel and it was pleasant. The second stay was disappointing.

Saudi ArabiaIt was one of the worst experiences I have ever had if it is not the worst. I booked a room (Executive Room - Lounge Access), and there was a balcony in the room's description. I have had many issues with the hotel since I arrive until I reached my room: 1- I arrived at 2:30 pm, and the girl in the reception told us the room was not ready. Then we went to our appointment because we had a 3 pm appointment; when we came back at about 4:30 pm, they gave us a room. We found it different than the one I booked and when I asked the reception they made us wait for 3 hours in the wrong room with unexplained dealy saying that the room is under cleaning and sterilization which we found was not the actual reason they were very slow. we waited for a long time (we did not get rest since we arrived from the trip) when I went again at 6:30 pm and found the supervisor, he solved the issue with a very bad attitude when I told him we were waiting for 3 hours( he said: don't you see me solving your issue!!). Finally, they gave us a room with a balcony and it was on the ground floor, which is not the same as the photo of the one I booked. I was very disappointed, the customer care was slow, and the services too.

Saudi ArabiaSome staff members were NOT competent or professional ( beginning with the hotel GM whom I wanted to talk to over the telephone regarding few complaints I had. He never returned my calls which I left with reception !!!?? He is either too busy all day or so arrogant to refuse to talk to customers, especially when he knows in advance that they are not happy with some of the services )
