How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

No shuttle bus to fajr prayer.. Very late check-in ( 4 to 6 pm) and I had to pay more to check in early. When I noticed that the check in on my reservation I tried to call them for 24 hours continuously and they did not answer the phone. Even booking representative try to call them and there was no answer.

* Bus is not available all time, especially FAGR time NO BUS AVAILABLE. * There are two hotels in Madinah by same name “The seasons” , this costed me double cost from airport to hotel as i arrived wrong one first. * Restaurant coffee is not open up-to 10:30 AM, we couldn’t take our BF Before leaving to airport.

Water flowed out of the shower area due to bad floor level. Also, the bathroom would stink when water entered the drains.
Clean rooms, very hospitable staff especially Abdulrahman at the reception was very friendly.

Rreception staff were very rough ! I asked about bus location he did answer well. We couldnt get alfajer pray because no bus transport at this time!!! Hotel is very far from almasjid al nabawi!!!

The shower room was very bad. The clogged shower ended up flooding the toilet seat. And the bathroom door blocks the sink. It is very sad to see that people working in the hotel industry in a holy city would take matters lightly. The air conditioning in my room was turned off automatically just before midnight I couldn't sleep and had to call reception, when it became unbearably hot. Nobody came till the 3 in the morning then again I called them and they sent room service who turned on the air con. after changing some settings. I could not go to Al Haram because of the lack of sleep. I went all the way to pray and spend time in the Masjid and I missed it. Absolutely a waste of time and money for me. Disheartening!
That I booked only for one night. And wasted less money.

On the night of 6th January 2024, when I wanted to check in, Night receptionist tried to scam me. I had a confirmed booking of triple room. The receptionist said there are 3 triple room available . And then asked me to pay for two separate rooms based on current rate. That was around 1600 Riyals extra. Later when I resisted he asked to pay 400 Riyals, when I denied that too he asked 300 Riyals. Later when we asked to speak to his manager he agreed to give two rooms for one night and triple room for other days on the same confirmed price. Please be aware.

Room that we booked not available they change from deluxe large bed to twin room for us !!! No towels for the whole stay!!! We keep asking and they said tomorrow and they didnt bring .

Worst experience. No facilities. No restaurant, cafe there opens too late. Nearest restaurant is 15 minutes walk. No taxi or cab easily available. We had a flight, and we were not able to book taxi, hotel management didn't help and were very rude.

It's quite a distance from Masjid al-Nabawi; taking a taxi is recommended as the hotel bus service may not be convenient.

The service was really bad. We did not have our room cleaned in over 48 hours even though we requested it to be cleaned several times. There is no room service or restaurant so it is more like a furnished apartment than a hotel for sure. The cafe in the lobby is suppose to open at 10 a.m but the waiter showed up at 11:00.
The rooms were modern and clean. The front desk were helpful.
