We checked many places and read many reviews before booking our 3 nights stay on La Digue in order to find the best place and we can honestly say that we found it in Agnes Cottage. :-) Starting with location that is quite and close to everything. The accomodation itself is very nice, spacious, very clean and with a big terrace overlooking great garden with many palms and fruit trees. The breakfast were ones of the best we experienced so far with plenty of fresh fruits, eggs, toasts, jams, etc. We strongly recommend to enjoy also the optional dinner which was by far the best food we had during our 2-weeks stay on Seychelles (thank you Chino!). Saving the best for last it was Agnes who made our stay unforgettable. Always smiling, always taking care of us, helping us to arrange taxi, bikes, boat excursion or dinner at Belle Vue (also strongly recommended). If we will return some days to La Digue it will be only to Agnes Cottage.

Mosquitos can be annoying during the evenings, make sure you come prepared. The bathroom sink was a bit clogged. The living quarters are not that big and after unpacking there was not much room left, but otherwise, everything is functional so we were not much bothered by this.

Agnes is a very warm and friendly person who made us feel at home during the five days we stayed there. She was very helpful in organizing the transportation for us from and to the jetty, getting rental bicycles, giving us advice, and proposing tours. We had very nice breakfasts with lots of fruits, some from Agnes' garden. We took dinner twice at the property, cooked by Agnes's husband Javier, who is an excellent cook and a very nice person, we enjoyed it a lot! The villa location is 10 minutes by bike away from the jetty and 10 minutes to Anse Source d'Argent, which is very convenient. The garden is wonderful with lots of coconut trees and fruits. The wifi connection is excellent compared to the two other locations we had during our vacation. Well-equipped kitchen and a large bed, big bathroom wilt a big shower space.

The breakfast provided was very tasty (especially the passion fruit jam!). Agnes also helped us with our excursions and brought breakfast to our cottage when we had to leave early. Upon arrival, we received a free room upgrade to the diamond cottage which seems very new and clean.

Agnes Cottages are perfectly equipped, with good maintenance. Everything we needed for cooking was there, the cottage is nice and the overall place is beautiful (and near to the village centre and the best beach of the island...one of the best beach of the world indeed!). Breakfast was always delicious and Agnes has been always kind, present for any need and very patient with my kids. Thank you Agnes, we hope to come back soon!!

Clean and spacious house, with a beautiful porch from where you can enjoy the nature that you are surrounded with. Agnes and her husband are very pleasant people, ready to help. They arranged bikes for us and they cooked a very tasty dinner one night (at request).

I would change nothing

Agnes place was exceptional. I would go there again tomorrow if I could. Our cottage was very elegant and clean. All necessary was present and we could prepare something to having a small kitchen. Air conditioning, TV, fresh towels etc. There were 4 friendly cats coming from neighbours and welcoming every evening when we were back from the beach and that made us feeling like we were at home. We could organize the rent for the bikes directly from the cottage thanks to Agnes and the taxi for the return. Morning breakfast was delicious, a plus the garden with a lot of fruits trees. The location is 3' by bike from the main road, a bit hidden in an internal street, but local people helped us immediately to find the right place.

We've had an amazing stay at Agnes' place and we recommend it without reservations. Agnes arranged a pick up for us from the jetty and the bikes were ready at the guesthouse at arrival during which time we have also received a brief on what to visit around La Digue island. Agnes' cottages are really nice and comfortable, breakfast is great to start your day and one evening we tasted a brilliant dinner prepared by her husband.

The road to the cottage does not have electricity, so hard to ride bike there after dark.

Spent 8 nights here; great facilities: wifi, kitchen, washing machine; good shower and toiletries; The cleaning was very good and breakfast - peaceful and delicious. Above all the hospitality of Agnes and her husband were superb - they offered a great Xmas dinner, helped to rent a good bike, ordered taxi… they are such great people! Thank you!

Agnes is a great person. The room was clean, quiet, and with all kitchen equipment. My advice, ask Agnes and her husband prepare dinner for you. It is amazing. We had a very nice stay there.

Agnes is very cheerful, friendly and helpful. The cottage was excellent and all furniture and equipment were in excellent condition. The cottage has a convenient location. Ants in the bathroom

A lot of room in the cottage and also in front of the cottage. Good wifi. Good communication and very friendly host. She helped me with bike reservation and dinner reservation. She managed to do an early breakfast for us because we had to catch the ferry at 8:30. Would definitely recommend staying here.

No space like a closet to put your luggage/clothes. We had to leave it in our suitcases on the floor. There were no beach towels available. There were 3 house cats and they were laying on the chairs all the time. So alot of cat hair we had to clean before we could sit down.

The host Agnes was very nice. Breakfast was good.
