I loved the location and its proximity to the beach

Hotel is older and in need for reconstruction - hence the price. I'd appreciate cold water to be available, or at least have the possibility to buy it at reasonable price during the whole day.

Everything was clean. Breakfast and dinner was above my expectations. Beach is close, shower facilities. It offers some activities and stores were nearby. Reception was helpful, they arranged taxi for us, also late checkout. You can rent car directly in the hotel and it's the best option as well. My brother had wedding here and Nexi, the organizer, was amazing.

Breakfast, there were fruits. There should variety of fruits on Breakfast Beach and the swimming pools were very excellent. Room was very small and you could here what is happening on the next room which not a good feeling at all.

not any space to put your wet clothes for drying... still missing clean towels you have to wait for wash

Had opted for a superior room but it was not very spacious. We upgraded to a suite after one night which we would probably have opted for but this option was not available on booking.com. Also our friends travelling with small children needed interconnecting rooms and though available and they followed up several times to request this they were told they could only guarantee rooms close together and this was the note on the booking rather than the request for interconnecting rooms! So they had to change rooms twice. Also the rooms in the main building are generally quite grim. Stay in the chalets if you can!

Reasonable variety of meal options including vouchers outside of daily evening buffet. Good half board option. Beachfront property next to other establishments and meal options.

It’s an old hotel without elevator and needs some renovation. They also need more beach towels because there were never available at the pool kiosk.

The rooms need some upgrading to meet contemporary standards. The configuration of the rooms do not reflect the amount paid, especially the Standard Rooms, too basic. One way is to start by replacing the furniture (the ones there now have an old look) with modern ones. There also needs to be more variety for the food..

The staff were really nice, especially at the reception. They were always on hand and willing to assist on any issues. The location is just right and the serenity was great. The Superior Room was acceptable and clean. The environment was always kept clean, had a nice ambience and you could take nice walks to almost any direction. The beach was also kept clean and there was always a lot to do.

It was our wedding/ honeymoon. The hotel did no extra effort, not even a flower on the bed, nothing to make it a little more special than any other guest.

None of the rooms have sea view. The walls of the deluxe chalets were too thin! Even if we were having a conversation we were told we were disturbing their next door guest!

The location was perfect, the property is right on the beach. The restaurants on site were very good specially the Indian restaurant! The pool facilities were good too. Perfect location to stay being right in the middle of the most popular beach.

Old and dated property. Needs refurbishing. No sea view rooms. Breakfast could be better - it was included in our room rate. I would not pay extra for that breakfast though - pricey and nothing special. The omelet chef was sooo lovely and friendly.

The beach is beautiful. Perfect spot for sunset. The Chalet was quite nice and comfortable. Staff were nice. Gihan from Front office was lovely and very helpful. Just outside the hotel you get everything (walking distance) - cashplus to change money, supermarket, takeaways, bars and restaurants at Story Resort (needs reservations).

Room service staff didn't attend to us for 3 days! sometimes they didn't bring towers, shower gels etc.

Hot beerages.

Breakfast was average with basics like live eggs counter , sausage, bread selection, fruits. however hot beverages are below average. No brewed coffee they have only instant coffee.

Rooms do not reflect 4 stars, but that is not a big trouble as they were clean and wide enough. It would have been great if there were a terrace and where to dry clothes, but again not a big minus. The view was to some roof and just minor part of the garden even though a garden view was described in the booking.

Berjaya is a really nice place - perfect location, wonderful breakfast with a wide choice of food starting early morning even before 6 for those tourists who have to leave early. There are a few more restaurants, nice swimming pool, a big garden with its diamond - the huge turtles. Staff was really nice, friendly and helpful. There is a free shuttle bus for the guests to Victoria and also a bus stop right in front of the hotel. In general I liked the atmosphere there - feeling safe enough, cosy and comfortable.
