Everything is thought about to the smallest detail. Very comfortable accomodation. We lived in Villa 2 and it was like a small private paradise.

Everything was perfect.

Judith and Richard were very kind and welcoming from the moment we arrived until the drop-off at the airport. They were very helpful with everything we needed and made sure our stay was as perfect as could be. The villa is set in nature and we felt right at home.

Everything about our stay at Bois Joli was perfect. The villa is lovely and private, surrounded by jungle. The hosts, Richard and Judith, are so friendly, informative, and prompt. The location on a mountainside adds a sense of adventure and a change of pace from the usual accommodations, and very well placed, especially for exploring the south of Mahé and Victoria. A rental car really is necessary, unless you want to pay a lot for taxis. The design of the grounds, the villa, and the pool are aesthetically pleasing, calming, and done by Richard himself. Merci beaucoup!

Everything!! The hosts were amazingly helpful and went out of their way to make our stay just a little more special. They picked us up after our taxi did notknow the path to go there from the main road. Judtith even contacted consular services on my behalf as I had lost my residence permit to go back. They printed my documents, checked in every day for cleaning, and ensuring we didn't need anything. They would inform us if they were going down the hill so we could have a lift from them if we needed it. We stayed at the "private pool villa" which was simply beyond our expectations. We did not want to leave and plan to come back for our honeymoon. Extra: - breakfast and dinner (except on sundays) can be ordered and delivered to the villa- it was simply scrumptious- must try!! - there were basic cooking ingredients such as oil and spices which made it easier to cook.

A little tough to get up to, but 100% worth it.

Wonderful hosts, super helpful and friendly! Beautiful stay, secluded and private (with a private pool)... what more can one ask for.

We had a relaxing, wonderful week in the middle of the wonderful jungle around Bois Joli in our luxurious "tree house" (our nickname). The chalet is new and you can see that in the well-thought-out furnishings and the many lovely details. The view is a dream, the pool area (with integrated granite rock) is unique. Judith and Richard are so friendly and warm-hearted and always up for a chat. We will definitely come back and can hardly wait until then. Note: you definitely have to go to the nearby Takamaka Rum Distillery for a barbecue on Fridays - fun, tasty drinks and delicious food

Nothing. I loved everything

Simply amazing. The place is located in the middle of a tropical forest(only 6 minutes far by car from the main island road), but you also have a beautiful ocean view from de pool. Judith and Richard had built this cozy wooden villa in their property, near to their house but surrounded by palms so we were the only guests there. Isn’t that luxury? They are building another one, but far enough to keep privacy, and each one has it own pool and sun bed area that we really enjoyed. Everything is well equipped: kitchen, bathroom, bedroom…but the best is the amazing level of cleanliness: Spotless. Honestly the owners are doing a great job, always caring and helping, so I really wish them just the best.

Everything in this property is meticulously arranged, clean, organized purposefully. The owners made it such a beautiful, peaceful and green place.

The place was absolutely beyond our expectations. Sitting on the patio we felt like we are in a nature park with that beatiful tropical garden around us. The house was clean and equipped with everything we needed, perfect for a couple. The pool was also a huge advantage, we spent quite some time there in the late afternoons. Judith and Richard are amazing hosts, they shared a lot of useful tips with us on the very first day we arrived and they were always really kind and helpful. The location was also perfect, everything was a few minutes drive away (take-aways, grocery stores, Anse Royal beach, etc). The only thing we regret is we did not stay longer. We will definitely go back.

We had a villa for ourself with access to a small pool, built on the rock. The villa had a nice kitchen and bathroom. A bigger portable A/C made sleeping very comfortable in the big bed.

Bois Joli is the perfect place to stay on your visit to Mahe. Judith and Richard and the warmest hosts and they are very helpful with planning all the logistics, helping with the car rental, and making sure you feel at home throughout the stay. The wooden villa is the perfect residence for your relaxing stay, hidden amongst the palm trees. It has a well-equipped kitchen and a luxurious balcony with seating to enjoy meals outdoors. Thank you for creating and maintaining this beautiful paradise. We had an amazing honeymoon at Bois Joli.

The road up to the property is a bit off-putting.

Superb breakfasts cooked to order every morning with the option of ordering dinner by a French trained chef.Private cabin with private pool. Hospitality and individual responsiveness, second to none. Fifteen minutes from the best beach on Mahe and 20 minutes from the airport.

Nothing gone wrong

Judith and Richard created a fabulous hideaway. All exotic. Scenic views from a terrace of the upper villa. Smaller Bali wooden house hidden among palms, furnished with all you need for a quiet and romantic stay. And the low volume soothing music from the speakers in the garden!!! Their poetic dream from many ago years to make a settlement on the rock in tropical forest came true only by their hard work. It is welcome by people who have similar aspiration. We are jelous about your lifestyle! Plus Judith supported us eagerly with the emergency we stambled on.Thank you once more.

Less positive points because the experience was great. Not having room cleaning service for the second night being which is not serious. Breakfast was a little pricey, but by island standards.

Great reception from the hosts Judith and Richard. Cozy and very beautiful place. Well equipped. Delicious breakfast with fresh and local products. An inspiring place in the middle of the Mahé forest. Recommended 100%.

Every holiday comes to an end.

We thank Judith and Richard for this marvellous holiday in their beautiful place! More individual than any hotel could provide. You feel like a human being with your special questions and wishes there - not as an anonymous room number. We learnt so much about the regional nature, enjoyed fish from barbecue, got hints and help …. simply cannot expect to come again.

We are forever grateful for the best accommodation Judith and Richard offered. We enjoyed every moment of our stay. The tranquility of the place is the key. A real get away, into a comfortable wooden villa surrounded with nature plus you have your private naturally built granite pool. Not to forget the best breakfast made always with love from the chef, Judith. (Smoothies from fresh fruits, cinnamon crepe, banana crepe. Eggs of your choice, fresh fruits. We always look forward for the next day’s sumptuous fresh and healthy breakfast.) Judith and Richard is the most hospitable and friendly host. They both love hosting, and we felt it right away. Our Stay in Seychelles was extremely excellent beyond words for we choose the Right and Best Accommodation ,BOIS JOLI
