We had a wonderful stay at Chalets Bougainville. The view over the coastline and Indian Ocean is spectacular, especially as seen from the relaxing infinity pool. Our hosts were super kind, interesting and always ready to help with any questions we had. We enjoyed every moment in this tropical paradise, especially the beaches including the mind blowing Anse Intendance. We bought fresh fruit including papaya closeby, as well as fresh fish sold by the local fishermen by the road. We recommend a rental car as this allows you to easily experience the whole beautiful Island. The interior design of the Chalets was exquisite.

Our stay there exceeded our expectations. It is one of those places you promise yourself to return again. The view from the Chalets was breathtaking. You have the ocean at your feet. The infinity pool is very smartly located in the garden with ocean view as well. Everything was extremely clean with attention to detail, you could say from the first moment that the amenities and the chalets are 5-stars level. The kitchen was fully organised, you could cook almost everything. The chalet we stayed (lemon) was recently renovated, with beautiful decoration. The bed had one of the best matresses ever tried on a hotel. Cleaning (& fresh flowers!) was daily which leads me to the best part of our stay which is the owners of the property. Maeggi & Joe were excellent hosts from the first moment. Always available with the best tips to get the most out of your vacation, very explanatory & clear about the policies but most of all they made you feel like you were a host at their house. Highly recommended.

Its a bit remote. To move around the island, or for going to the beach or shops, a car is a must.

We spent 4 fantastic days in Mae in Chalets Bougainville. We liked it very much. We staid in Cocos apartment. It has spectacular view on the ocean. You fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the waves. Apartment is very cosy and authentic. Every detail speaks of owners love and care. There are all you need for living. The terrace is something special and when you open big doors the bedroom and terrace are turning in one harmonious space. Also there is a parking. Maeggi and Joe are very hospitable and attentive. They are trying to make guest’s accommodation comfortable and safe.

iif you are staying there, make sure you can organize to get to a proper supermarket. the one nearby is a nightmare. walking along the roads could be dangerous, taxis are totally over charging you. so better get a car. the chalets was clean but its kitchen and bathroom a kind of aged.

if you are looking for a tranquil and relaxed place, that's a grand match! the views overlooking the bay are stunning! Maeggie and Joe are very helpful and supporting you in anything you need. the chalet we had was nicely decorated and functional with a beautiful terrace and all time clean and spotless.

A little bit far from good beaches, but the beach that is located near is a little too shallow and the water is not so clean. We were taking a bus to travel to the northern beaches.

The views from the balcony are fantastic! The house is clean and brand new. Two bus stations on each side.

We had a wonderful stay at Chalets Bougainville - staying in the Guava Cottage Beautiful balcony views over Anse Royale with an operational kitchen and well sized bedroom. Small but functional bathroom. Perfect for a couple. Maeggy and Joe are the owner/hosts and they service the cottage every day House rules are what you would expect from a secluded facility where peace and quiet are the name of the game Cottage set in small stand alone garden that gets some good sun – no washing machine but hand washing is able to dry quickly on a rack in the garden – Maeggy can do a wash for you if required (for a fee) Local shops and restaurants all nearby – car recommended for getting around. Parking at the property was no problem. Good beaches within 10 mins drive (Intendance is a must). We did a combination on stay in and eat out dining – nearby restaurant menus are all reasonably similar with creole cuisine the obvious “go to” option. Seychelles is pricey regardless of how you cater so use the local markets for fresh fruit and fish – its fun and certainly the most cost effective option in terms of buying produce A great 2 week break in idyllic surroundings – highly recommended !

Thank you Maggie and Joe! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Chalet Guava! A perfect place to unwind and relax with stunning views across the Anse Royal beach as well as the beautifully maintained landscaped garden, listening to the sounds of the waves and the birds singing. The chalet had a charm to it with the four poster bed and the wooden finishes throughout, it was clean and very comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed for making breakfast and cooking dinner. Few minutes drive away from the nearest town of Anse Royal where you can get everything you need. Small beach across the road, or many others all the way along the coastline. Maggie and Joe were very helpful, warm and welcoming. Looking forward to coming back to the Seychelles and staying with you again!

It's a little far from everything, it's best to always have a rented car with you.

Everything was great. The chalet is super comfortable and extremely clean. The veranda and the view are amazing, we had all our meals there. The wifi works very well. Maggi and Joe are very friendly and we enjoyed meeting them.

Didn't even offer a glass of water when arrived. Invaded our privacy, approached our bedroom window, which made us leave one day before expected. Changed the location of food and clothes we chose. NO beach towels. Hard old shower towels. Dirty sheets. Can't use pool with sunscreen.

Unfortunately lack of hospitality Extremely unprofessional, lack of privacy the owner will enter your rental property! on Sunday the day we check inn ( no cleaning required plus no cleaning on Sunday anyway) she snuffed though our stuff just a few minutes after we left! She Will FORBIDDEN you to use air conditioning during the day even if it’s super hot!!! She will be arrogant and spend30 minutes telling you What NO TO Do but never ones apologies for the inconvenience of constructing side !!!! After visiting 70 countries I must say the Worst Experience ever! Don’t recommend to my worst enemy

Old accommodation, needs renovation. Bathroom and kitchen very small, in need of some work. The owner Maeggi is a bad person, she is very present in the house always watching what we are doing, not letting her be too comfortable. She accused me of missing things from the house and threatened that we would have to pay. I found in 2 minutes what she thought was missing and there was no apology. In the last three days I couldn't sleep due to the owner's stress. I do not recommend Chalets if you are going to have a peaceful holiday.

The host she is invincible, she imposed a water regime on us, she dug in our garbage to see how many filters for the coffee pot we had used and she claims that we stole many of them, can you imagine? She used to come to us very angry and made remark about the air conditioner, how and when we can use it or not ...can you Imagen.. we paid for all this. we requested from her a refund because of the lack of water from the shower and if there was water it was always cold!! So we wanted from her a refund - 20 euros per day per person or a total of 120 euros for the two of us for 3 nights because the night cost us 125 -130 euros. She refused. They ruined our whole stay, did not stop insulting us, and we were on a romantic trip and my husband, not to follow the water regime .. She said we are poor people and that is why want money back. She wanted that we have mask also in the open air garten... totally nagging.. Our family friends were in another apartment, they just came to help us with the luggage beim Check in, it was very hot , we all just came from another island..so they stayed with us for 2 hours, we wanted take a shower and eat something. Than came the host,trembling with nerves and said we are terribly cheeky , because our friends use her facilities and it was not true , they didn't dished , only we, but they were waiting us , because we all had one rent a car and wanted after that to go around the island..the host was angry because the she saw them sitting on two chairs down to rest. she said that because of the pandemic it was not possible, but I explained to her that what she said did not make sense, because we spend every day with our friends and tour the island, and if they are sick, so will we. So if they are on our balcony or not it doesn't matter. One evening as we toured the whole day the island and were so tierd we came back to our room at 22;00 o'clock ( it is normal, we are on a tour) ..we couldn't take a shower..
