An amazing place with excellent privacy, as the bungalows are nestled amidst tropical flora, offering a feeling of being in the tropical jungle while still being conveniently located. The staff is incredibly polite and helpful, assisting us with everything and making us feel incredibly comfortable. Highly recommended for a wonderful experience on beautiful La Digue, providing a warm and unforgettable stay on the island.

The property was perfect.

Our seven nights at Cocotier du Rocher were wonderful. The apartments are in a beautiful garden with a cute rabbit, geckos, and birds. Our place was big and really clean. The staff and manager were great, taking care of everything we needed and giving us good advice about the island. We rented bikes from the hotel and easily reached all the beaches. The island itself is like a paradise with amazing nature and beautiful beaches. We highly recommend the hotel and would love to come back anytime.

What is best about Cocotier du Rocher are very helpful hosts, who assisted and helped us with everything we needed. Rooms are nice. Garden and surroundings are breathtaking. Breakfast (paid extra) consists of eggs, fresh fruits and toasts - we liked it, some days we prepared breakfast by ourselves - shop is just next to the place, what is convenient. Hotel is not located near the ocean, however the island is small, and this is not a problem, especially if you rent a bike. We rented 2 nice bikes with child seats, and were able to freely explore entire island with 2 small kids (3 and 1 yo). 15 mins ride and you can be on both sides of island on breathtaking beach of your choice. Highly recommend!

The place contains several villas separated by very nice garden. You can feel like living in the middle of the jungle and you have full privacy. Only one thing that you hear is sounds of the jungle and from time to time very vocal cat :) Villas are bit old school furnished, but there is everything you need. There is fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning and terrace. Rooms are clean and stuff is very friendly - they let us leave our luggage and take a shower when we came back from the beach just before our ferry. It takes approx. 15-20 minutes to get to the „city centre”, but you can always rent a bike to make it faster. Last, but not least - manager Stephane is very nice guy that explains us everything about the island and helped us a lot in organising our trips. I would definately recommend!

A TV was missing.

Stephan was incredibly helpful on giving us tips about the island and supporting us through my husband sickness. The place is beautiful and very comfortable. The villa is also secluded which was a great addition.

Overall very expensive (like everything on the Seychelles) but with bikes, breakfast and environmental tax on top it was surprisingly pricey.

Nothing, everything worked for us!

Stefan is an amazing! Its heartwarming to see someone take it so seriously to make your stay as confortable as possible. Truly going above and beyond! Location is close to center but far enough to be in a quiet spot where you feel like you are almost alone with couple of great spots just nearby. Cant recommend enough :)

The highlight of the property is the garden. It is like being in a paradise. You can’t beat it. Bungalows are very spacious and we really noticed how spotless clean they are, which is a difficult thing to accomplish in tropics. Also, they have surprisingly good internet connection.

The manager was ready to welcome us and give us recommendations about places to visit and restaurants to eat. The room was clean and spacious. The place is only 15 mins walk from the jetty, and there are no steep hills.

Don't expect modern design and fancy new furniture. Everything is a bit outdated, but it is in harmony with nature and has its own story. There are some ants in the kitchen, and a gecko kept us company in the bedroom, but that's all to be expected on a tropical island and it wasn't a problem for us. The only serious problem is the bikes which are in really bad shape, but that's common everywhere on the island.

The large, beautiful terrace where we spent our evenings will always remain in our memories. The friendly staff welcomed us with a coconut and a smile. Bicycles, which all guests rent, were already ready for us. Right next to the bungalow complex is a small grocery store. The whole stay was very impressive.

official checkout is from 6:30. we had to check out at 6:45 because the ferry was leaving at 7:30. nobody was at the reception. luckily some staff was awake and he did the payment. no big deal. but when 6:30 isn’t possible please hold the hours actual (online)

love this large cabin in the jungle. so clean. it’s a bit outside of the “city”. it’s quiet and beautiful. not far away from restaurants, most sights and beaches. staff was very kind. there’s a supermarket around the corner.

Beautiful chalets in a fantastic location, handy shop next door and great takeaway 5 mins walk away which served delicious creole food. Lots and lots of beautiful beaches very close. This particular property was the best after visiting 4 islands over 3 weeks as part of our honeymoon. Stephan was an incredible host who gave us the warmest welcome and great tips for enjoying this beautiful island and we loved our time shared with him. Highly recommended
