How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

We booked a honeymoon suite, considering that the room is intended for newlyweds, the room was not very luxurious and in my opinion the facilities in the room need updating.
The hotel is located on the beach, there were sun beds and a restaurant of the hotel where you could order drinks and food, very convenient.The hotel staff is very kind, the breakfast is tasty and satisfying, but for our entire stay it was unchanged.Overall the hotel is very nice.

The staff is unable to keep an information throughout a duration of 10 hours: we booked and confirmed several times a "take away vegetarian breakfast box" due to early check out. It was confirmed at 9am, 11am, 1pm when taking to the reception. Arriving at night to fetch it: info for lost, after 20 minutes something confirmed but with meat, then even staff recommended to abandon without apologizing. Check-in: no one was able to tell us when the room would be ready Luggage: not a tentative of helping with luggage manipulation, luggage room not supervised or managed.
Well placed on a very nice beach, with pool and walking distance small shops. Renovation ongoing, hopefully this will improve the quality of the hotel: floor with broken and moving floor tiles, getting lost when searching the elevator (different ones no longer operating). Make sure not to get a room with "view on parking" or view on mountain as they call it: we were lucky but saw the difference when passing by.

The hotel building is a bit old and the bathrooms could be renovated.
The location is 10/10 and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The food was also great.

the hotel is located on the beach in a beautiful location the staff in the restaurant and the cleaning ladies worked very hard and cleaned the shabby rooms, everyone at the reception was all wonderful and tried very hard to make my husband and I feel good, except for Naomi we don't like her attitude everywhere in the resort, the staff was constantly cleaning very nice hotel, but the rooms and bathrooms are much needed renovations

We stayed here only for one night, nothing bad to mention.
Excellent Location giving access to one of the most beautiful beaches in Mahé. Also, walking distance from some Mini-Markets, Money exchange office and one of the best restaurants in the Area (La Perle Noire, which we also highly recommend). The Staff were happy to help with any request.

Small territory, everything is concentrated in one place, so no privacy. If you need smth, be ready to wait. Poor wi-fi, like everythere in Seychelles.
Location is right in the "center". Clean and modern rooms with nice view. Amazing breakfast. Nice restaurants.

poor WiFi and operator service, you will call 4-5 times for reception and no one will answer or even call you back. but other than these two things, everything was perfect.

Overprised, as everything is on the Seychelle islands. There are lack of sunbeds and beachtowels - unless you like to compete in the game of getting up early to take property of the sunbed of the day, you are likely to be without one for the rest of the day. Beachtowels are also not available between 10-16 most days. This is sad as the main reason to visit the Seychelles is beach life, and it should be quite simple to fix. If you like to shower in warm water, be sure to do this before 4 pm, later it will be luke warm at best.
Great location. Breakfast buffet that has something for everyone. Staff mostly positive and helpfull, some not that much.

The rooms are a little dated as is the hotel, but that would not stop me returning, I would happily stay here again.
Amazing location, brilliant staff and beautiful spot on the beach. I would especially like to mention Dave who worked at the pool bar, what a lovely local guy and was beyond helpful from start to finish.

We need to wait for 2 hours for check-in even if we informed the check-in time earlier and the time was later than the normal hotel check in time. We didn't get these extended time for check out irrespective of.multiple requests.
Nice location, Direct access to beach. Many tour booking centres , restaurants and shops nearby. Helpful staff. Overall good experience. The rooms are a bit old but clean and neat.

AC not working properly, response from the receptionist for various services, Wifi for first 2 days was poor and last 4 days did not work at all.
