Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

RomaniaThe apartment had an excellent view, walking around (even seeing the 5 tortoises which they had) was a pleasure. The breakfast and the dinner were some of the best we had in Seychelles. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Strongly recommend this place.

IrelandOnly would say the location of the plug sockets could be revised if one were to use iron board or kettle and the steps leading to my room was extremely tight.
The service from all the staff was good especially from Bikesh. My partner and I were not expecting much from the property but when we arrived we were stunned by the location and the breakfast was better than what I would expect for the price we paid. Yes the room was small but it was comfortable and the A/C was perfect. The layout of the hotel was good and the hotel still has so much more potential. We did not try the dinner but the price they were charging was reasonable for the Seychelles, its was between 25-30 euros per person if I am not mistake. As a local I would say this to tourists, the price you pay for this establishment is worth it coupled with the service you get and I would come back again.

ItalyThe hotel is strategically positioned in the south, near the jetty, and from there you can easily reach everything. Although we had booked only B&B we eventually had dinner in the restaurant of the hotel every evening. The restaurant is really nice and the food was good. Nice pool overlooking the sea, where to relax at the end of the day. Staff really helpful and kind. Would recommend it for a stay in Praslin.

IndiaGetting down to restaurant/pool and coming up is a task as it's up hill, elderly people will have difficulty. It's 20 mins walk from jetty so with luggage taxi would be required.
Courteous staff, very friendly and helpful. We hired car from them, receptionist Bikesh was helpful. View from the view was very good. Wifi was good as well.

FranceA bit expensive ( room and restaurant) for what it truly is in our opinion. Acting like a luxury hotel but well, it is not. The pool can be a bit busy, breakfast are a bit late if you have some appointement in the morning. No bar, that's a shame. In the room english (only) plug. Very very little shower, we were forced to put towels on the floor after each showers. Hard to find some privacy in the outside of the room.
Breakfast were cool with homemade marmelades and differents sorts of eggs. The place was great with the turtles coming nearbyin the afternoon. People working there were kind and dedicated. The room was decent and clean. We like the flowers everywhere =]

FranceThe hotel estate is huge and it's like being in Vallée de Mai with all the rocks and trees and pals surrounding us, all this while being modern and having an excellent view on the garden and the sea (we got lucky in the room placement) and also an excellent restaurant serving breakfast with a view on the pool and the beach. Bikesh and the rest of the staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming in every possible aspect. We were even allowed to use the hotel amenities until the taxi (a taxi which Bikesh called for us to go out to dinner a couple of days before) came to pick us up on our last day. They kept our luggage safe and even let us shower before leaving. The location is perfect if you don't rent a car, as you can walk through the garden pass for 2-3 minutes and find a bus station. Would definitely stay here again.

PolandIt was a unique experience. The hotel is set in a beautiful tropical garden. Staff - always smiling and helpful, very friendly, ready to fulfill any request. The room was perfectly cleaned every day. Breakfast is something wonderful - beautifully presented, in a restaurant overlooking the ocean, eaten in the company of sociable birds. Spectacular swimming pool. It is about 7-10 minutes to the bus stop and the shop run by a very nice gentleman.

FinlandThe staff was really friendly and ready to help and give any tips needed in Praslin. They also actively responded all messages and questions we sent them before our arrival. You can get all meals in the restaurant (breakfast, lunch, dinner) which is good since there is not so much selection of restaurants in Praslin. The hotel area was charming, beautiful garden with several different trees and plants and great view to the sea. There is good pool area from where you can access to the sea for a swim as well, even though there is no actual beach at the hotel. The location of the hotel is on a steep hill which is a bit challenging if you are having a car. Anyway, car is highly recommended to get around the island. But the location in the tip of the island is perfect, because you cant drive fully around the island so the hotel is basically in the half way to each sides of Praslin. So it is approximately same distance to drive to Anse Lazio or Anse Gourgette. Protip: prefer driving through Vallee de Mai rather than through the south end to the west side of the island , because the road in Vallee de Mai is in much better condition and not that narrow and steep than it is in the south end.
