Such a wonderful stay! The host, Christopher, went above and beyond to welcome us and make our stay wonderful. He arranged a taxi to meet us at the ferry and bring us and our luggage to the property (~150 rupees), and upon arrival he gave us fresh-squeezed juice and fruit off of his own trees! He had rental bikes available for us at the property, and he allowed us to only pay for the days when we used them. (My husband and I are not great bike riders, and we didn't use the bikes on a couple rainy days, when we lounged at the property watching the storms over the ocean, and briefly walked out to stores and restaurants with our umbrellas.) And Christopher was also incredibly helpful on our last day: our chalet was booked for a new couple, so he couldn't give us late check-out, but the other chalet was empty so he allowed us to hang out in the air-conditioning there for over an hour (between when we checked out of our chalet at 10am, and when the taxi to the ferry was picking us up at 11:30am). Since this was going to be an incredibly long day for us (ferrying back to Mahe, going to the airport, and then traveling for over 24 hrs back to the US), we really appreciated having a cool place to relax for that extra time in the morning, rather than having to wait around with our luggage in the heat at the ferry terminal! Overall, this was an incredible stay in a beautiful location.

Great location, direct seaside, close to famous and beautiful beaches, owner ( Christopher) will arrange everything for you if you need.. like: organize taxi, rent a bike, change the bike etc.. if you look for a great accommodation in La Digue and find this one free.. do not hesitate… book it.. :-)

Nothing that I didn't like, my only suggestion would be for some way of keeping the air conditioning in the upstairs bedroom? Maybe with a door and a wall? The upstairs room is delightful and contains a sitting area which is open to the bedroom so it may be impractical? But this is so minor a point and in no way hindered our overall enjoyment of this beautiful place.

Location excellent, Christopher the host very attentive, lovely modern bathroom, gorgeous views, private beach, would definitely stay again, we LOVED it. And La Digue is just so relaxed - hardly any cars which added to the island vibe. We hired bikes through Christopher and it was the best way to see the island, and I am an unfit 70 year old!!!

Beautiful new apartman right on the beach just like on the pictures. The sunsets are beyond all expectations. The host is extremely flexible, tried to take all our requests into account and was as flexible as possible. For this reason, I highly recommend it to travelers with children (we had a 3-year-old and a 1-year-old daughter).

Fantastic location only 5 mins bike ride to Anse Source D’argent. Private beach with beautiful sand. Very clean and well equipped. Chris was a fantastic host and couldn’t do enough for us! Will definitely return.

We really felt like home - our host is not only committed to their guests' well-being but also nice person. The house is very spacious (actually accommodates two families - two bedrooms, one bathroom, one kitchen). Beautiful view from the terrace to the private beach. We really appreciated the outdoor shower in front of the entrance to the house and the freshly squeezed juice as a "welcome".

Very comfortable and lovely being directly on the beach. Enjoyed going for early morning swim, eating takeaway lunch at table on the porch and watching sunset. The location is great it’s just a fun short bike ride to the centre and there is a supermarket and takeaways very nearby. Our host Christopher was very attentive, brought bikes to rent to the chalet, organized taxi to ferry, proposed restaurants and made reservation.

There's no dining room in the chalet, and you can take your meal only on the terrace. You would maybe like to eat on the terrace anyway, though it may be disturbed by the flies.

The location of the chalet is outstanding - it's directly on the Anse Réunion with a private beach. You will have an awesome view on the sunset from the terrace. At the same time it's also close to restaurants and supermarkets. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable with modern furniture. You will probably find everything in the kitchen as well that you need. The host is very kind and helpful, I really appreciate his flexibility too: we could leave our luggage at the chalet in the morning of the check-in, so we didn't have to come back from the beach in the middle of the day to do the administration.

If you want to dry cloths on the clothes horse, you need to watch out for rusty parts to not get your cloths dirty. But this is common sense :)

The Chalet is beautiful, directly at the beach and in the center of the city. The host was very friendly and very helpful! Two bicycles were available at the Chalet. Surprisingly the WiFi on this island (this Chalet) is faster then the WiFi at my parents German village :)

Just on fridays the reggae bar across the street can be a bit loud at night and give you a beat to Fall a sleep.

Beautiful chalet, right on the beach. The host friendly and helpful. There were four of us and we all felt very comfortable … In the immediate vicinity a supermarket, take away and restaurant. The beach access from the garden pure luxury!

The host at the property, Christopher was super helpful, the check in and out were really straight forward and he let us store our bags after checkout so we could continue exploring before our ferry, Christopher also recommended a fabulous restaurant ( natural bar and grill) and arranged a snorkelling trip with Julius, and this was the best boat trip we had all holiday. The location is great, really easy to cycle to from the ferry. As the chalets are brand new everything is immaculate, and as there are only two chalets it feels really private.

Christopher the owner contacted us by whatsapp prior arrival and he was extremely helpful organizing the taxi from the sea port to the Chalet. He met us directly there and was so kind offering us juice and a tour around the chalet. He gave great insights about the island and its whereabouts. I highly recommend this chalet as its new, well designed, has direct access to the sea, spacious and great for a family or 2 couples to stay in...

First of all i have to say that the host was very helpful and proactive, he organized everything for us: taxi, bicycles right upon our arrival. He also gave us some welcome drinks and coconuts. He also helped us to solve some issues and it was very appreciated. The villa was amazing right on the beach, very clean and new. The beach is shallow but suitable for swimming, with no waves at all, which is rare for July and it was great to swim there and even snorkeling. Beach shower was also very useful! If we go to La Digue once again we will stay here with no doubts. The best place we had ever stayed.

Digwa Beach Chalet is amazing, what a great location right on what is almost a private beach. So quiet and relaxing. To be able to walk 10 meter from the house and be in the sea !! The house is all new and fineshed to a high standard, exceptionally clean, equipped with everything you need and well maintained. Christopher was a great host, very flexible with check in and out and helping us with a taxi when out failed to turn up. He made our stay very relaxing.

The host is awesome. He is so friendly and welcoming! This chalet was the perfect location, right on the water, and a quick ride or walk to the market and restaurants. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked, and the shower was amazing. Rental bikes were available on site, too. There were plenty of places to relax, including comfortable chairs on the covered deck and lounge chairs near the water.
